In mind is not a confirmation. PR protip is not to make a promises that you can't keep.
Kaz has avoided that pro-tip so far, I don't think he'd change his policy!

I really think that the news of yesterday about the disc beeing made is not tru. If Kaz says that 'I think so' on a question like 'will it be released before xmas' I doubt it will be released this year. And even if the disc making is true it could mean alot. Sony can put them in a warehouse and launch the game on the time they seem fit. I hope the discmaking is true and we can play the game mid December but when I think of all the (release) dissapointment that PD and Soony gave me in the last decade I doubt we will see it by then.
"We will have more details very soon on the gold master submission as well as launch date."
Ummm... this is Sony's official statement about Jalopnik's report.

Yes Soony says very soon. When is very soon in Soony's dictionaire? Soon I supose:tdown:

I'm not happy about all of the "soon" going on either. However, you said you believe Jalopnik's report is "not tru".
Which is simply not true.![]()
Sony also said we would get a release date by the end of October.Anyhow Sony have said to IGN a release date announcement is due very soon.
I sayed that I hoped it is true but that I doubt it.

I may be stupid saying this but that top gear picture, is that every single premium car?

Then it was production issues, now it's more like post-production issues.
That's really old.
Looks like we're back to the complaining and this time over Kaz and his once again vague answer "soon". So it hasn't occured to you guys that he's perhaps contracted NOT to reveal info without Sony's consent? He's not gonna tell anyone until he's allowed to so thats all you'll hear until he's given permission.
The way I see it is this. I really doubt Kazunori would make a statement, confirming the discs were being pressed, especially to somebody in the media, if it were not true. This much he probably knows. But I doubt he himself is really sure when the game will be on store shelves.
And likewise, I'm sure a lot of folks at Sony, responsible for the production and distribution of the game were not too happy that he made such a confirmation. If the game is in production, than various teams at Sony are probably right now busy at work, gathering information from their production facilities, distribution channels and wholesale/retail vendors. And during this process, holding countless internal meetings and conference calls, trying to get a handle on unified release dates that are realistic and plausible. Organizing a world wide release schedule and trying to do it under time pressure with the busiest retail window of the year closing in, must be an enormous task. I'm pretty sure they would have preferred that Kaz said nothing. With the 'going gold' announcement now viral, I'm sure big corporate retailers (Amazon, Gamestop, GAME, Bestbuy, etc) are reaching out to Sony and trying to put pressure from their side as well as they also have to schedule floor space, advertisements, etc. And it probably just makes Sony's job a bit more difficult.
I'm guessing at this point, we'll probably have an "official" announcement from Sony within the next week. And I would be surprised if the game wasn't out between the last week of November and 2nd week of December. It's certainly realistic. But we do have to give Sony a little time.
None-the-less, for the sake of fans everywhere, I'm glad the GoldMaster status was confirmed.

Which is kinda sick IMO, because the way I see it it's Kaz's game and his game only. Besides, if he told us anyway, without Sony's permission, what are they gonna do? Break the co-operation with him? Highly doubt that since GT is one of Sony's most important products...Looks like we're back to the complaining and this time over Kaz and his once again vague answer "soon".
