First of all, I actually didn't say Need for Speed Underground at all, I just said "Need for Speed", but I was referring to Pro Street if you were wondering.

Secondly, what's wrong with that? The wheel painting in Pro Street is deeper than what we have ever got in a GT game before.

Chillout man! I was only LOLling @ superdeep customitation :sly:
Matter of taste...

Is that a Maglev train ? I thought they only existed in Japan.

No, it's a normal Monorail.
Also, Maglev trains exist in Japan, China and Germany. :)

shadow under cars lag ! they disappear sometimes !

And? This happening on a Demo is supposed to mean something? Perhaps its just me, but why do you seem so intent on pointing out negative things from unfinished demos?

Love those fireworks. Something I haven't noticed until now.

It's from the TGS build of Toscana. So we only recently saw the fireworks going off as there was a video released of that build recently. Toscana in general looks a lot better now than it has before.

At TGS time all just looked at weather effects and pased on by Toscana .

^ May wanna take it easy with the near-empty posts and double-posting.

Okay, I'll be the one to say it...

the fireworks... why? They look cool, but really? They happen randomly? I figured probably when we win, but not from across the track, midway through a lap!

I think it's something from 24h races.

I don't know. Maybe when it's race day is like a party so there is some fireworks.

And it's a good way to put some colour to dark night around that place xD

Was wondering about this addition too although the randomness isn't that surprising to me ( although that might be due to the place I live...) particulary at any event like a rally is, where spectators may shoot some fireworks into the sky themselves.

have u seen that studpid youtube video that compares gt5 downloadable demo vs forza 3 the full game!!! like RACECAR said why compare nagative things to un finished work

Quality post mate. Just one question, what downloadable demo. The time trial?

How do you think Sony will announce the release date?
-Special event(like SEMA,some up-caming motorshow)
-Simply on GT5.COM
-Special conference

They happen quite often at 24 Hour races. Perfect example is the Rolex 24 at Daytona.

I think it would be announced on the PSBlog in conjunction with GT.com, thats if we don't get anything at SEMA.

No I haven't. That is a bit silly. Better off putting GT5 against Forza 4 now. They'll probably be the closest release dates to each other.

Has anyone else forgotten all about the wait, and delay? I'm just giddy all over again. I guess that's the affect the game has on me. I'm a hardcore fan, and have been one since 99.

You can not forget about the delay. Without the delay I wouldn't be here, and I would have the game in my hands, playing it. There would be no more "what are you going to do" "what is going to be your first car" it would have been said and done and I would be well through my GT career.

I would be posting in threads such as "Which cars have you race modded" and "Features in GT5 you were surprised at"

Instead I'm sitting here WITHOUT something to look forward to, without a date to count down to, without information to gawk at in spite of our longer wait, nothing. We sit in silence and we don't even know if a release date is planned to be announced this week or see the game this year.

Maybe some Italians can confirm/correct this. But, for the two weeks I was in Italy, it seems like I saw fireworks every other night. Sometimes, off in the distance just like that.

Oh, true. Just seems like an odd inclusion. Though I feel like fireworks are actually pretty simple for designers to add quickly. As long as it isn't very taxing at all on the system's resources...

But we know the dates coming 98% likely tonight. Soon as I heard it's gone gold, everything became right again in the world.

PS-love the avatar. My last Civic was Spoon certified.

Was your drink spiked?

I can't believe people are still worried about it not making 2010. It's one thing to miss a deadline determined 6 months prior, but it's an entirely different thing to outright lie about something that is supposedly happening "as we speak".

Woah if you learn one thing here it's don't take for granted you'll be playing it this year.
Good possibilty yes but do not bank on it.

You should know that by now.
