As somebody said, nothing new. Except that they say the AI and the 3D effect are poor... They say the AI cars hit you every time...

Did some more math: looking back, page 2,000 was on October 26, that's only 9 days ago. 235 pages in 9 days. That would mean we'd get to 3,000 on or around December 3. Although, I expect as the release draws near, the pace will pick up.

Are you one of those people who boasts proudly about reading a book containing 7-800 pages in record time despite missing the whole meaning of the story or intention of the writer?
Why are people so obsessed with the number of pages reached for Pete's sake?
You know what happened after this thread reached 2000 pages a short while ago?
Absolutely nothing, nada, zilch, it just carried on as usual after a few celebrated this pointless fact for a few pages.
Quality matters in this regard, not quantity.:indiff:

If you don't like that I'm playing around with these numbers that's fine, but please don't pretend you know me. I think you're just venting but don't vent on me. I'm just passing the time is all.

I didn't claim to know you, just asked a question whether you were a certain type of person, although questioning this obsession with numbers was more a general statement not just aimed at you.
Go ahead, play around with numbers if that's your thing, to me the number of pages is irrelevant in itself and also in the context of discussing GT5.
But if you think it's relevant somehow to discussing GT5, who am I to say you can't?
I may pretend a lot of things, knowing you however isn't one of them.

what was that fact that 30% of the people waiting for gt5 dont even have a ps3? Id say that sony is going to have a good end of the year in sales. Ps3's, 3d tv's, gt5, r2d2...

Excuse me? Yes, the Camaro and Firebird are similar, that's the point I was making. However, I do not think the '69 Camaro is similar to the '70 mustang. Far from it.

Sorry it was just, the obvious difference! One car has a big mesh radiator thing, the other has two smaller ones. I live in the UK and have no real interest in muscle cars. I just wasnt seeing similarity, but i am kinda sad like that...

maybe for you, a casual somebody, those cars look similar, but for me, a hardcore mucle ca fan ! theres no way I will say these cars look similar not in a milion years ! P

The Firebird and the Camaro do indeed look similar and different. The thing is they are both GM from the side view they are pretty much identical and you can interchange many of the parts because they are build on the same chassis. Doors, windows seats all interchangeable as well as the entire front end.

Where as the Mustang is not compatiable in any way what so ever and does not look like the Camaro nor the Firebird from any angle. Yes the Mustang and the Camaro each have 2 round headlights and they are roughly the same size and that is all that is the same.

Your doing better, just take a moment and preview your post before you submit it to make sure it looks right. You found the shift key, which is better than some others.....who think the caps-lock key will suffice.

The Preview post button is your friend. Nothing is so important that you can't take a second to click preview and see if your post looks alright before you submit it. Something as simple as a missing / can blow everything up.

What can I say, I was away for a few hours and when I popped in the first thing I saw was that discussion albeit several pages back I just could not resist chiming in on the matter :sly:
