Will there be a difference between standard or premium cars in replay's? Based on grfx?

Lets discus that question in like 3-4 weeks ok ?

I think like Spagetti69 that our cars will be added on a track or in a garge or anything else :) i think there will be no cars in dlc, because kaz have said that there are a lot of thing that he couldn't add to gt5 will be added to gt6

constantly updating car parks = Constantly updating and limited Car Dealerships? Like the one in GT PSP :ouch:

I can only through the Google translator, so forgive me if something goes wrong ...

-1000+ available vehicles.
-Constant updating of car park.
-70 tracks.
-The most modern and advanced special effects - crashing cars, realistic physics, smoke, sparks, tire tracks.
-Change of day and night; weather effects.
-Tracking the movement of a player (Move).
-Compatible with Gran Turismo for the PSP.
-Large collective mode.
-Karting.
-Execution of tricks.
-NASCAR and WRC.
-Tracks generator.
-Top Gear test track and the Stig.
-"Celebrity behind the wheel" DLC.
-Full support for 3D.

Russian Game Expo "Igromir 2010"

I'm interested in the Celebrity behind the wheel DLC part. Polyphony might make a challenge where we compare our times on the Top Gear test track to that of the celebraties and the F1 drivers using the three cars used in the "star in a resonably priced car" segment of Top Gear. It would be a great challenge.

Thank you! Could you translate the bigger text? Because, just looking at it, the ad doesn't make much sense :\
Nothing useful ;], just ad.
"Settle this on track!
With over thousand cars, countless tracks, astonishing graphics, unmeasured numbers of challenges, GT 5 is the best arena to clarify, once for all, who is the boss"

Those being "free" and any newer cars DLC could

Ok, I'll try. :)

From top:

"let's get it on the track"

"with over a thousand cars, countless circuit, the immense number of challenges, GT5 is the best arena to clarify who's boss"

"in the Polish language version Martyna Wojciechowska"

"release date at the end of year 2010".

Thanks! That explain the two guys kind of having a discussion...

The other magazine ad, "Take it to the track in November" is better :P (because of the date)

Edit: Oh, just Google'd Martyna Wojciechowska...

I'm worried about this. It's a common trend in modern games - paying for extra content even though YOU JUST BOUGHT THE FULL FRIGGIN' GAME (Dice I'm looking squarely at you)

I hope GT5 isn't going to follow Forza's car pack trends either

Why is this such a bad thing when the GT5 already has a more than adequate garage for you to choose from?

e.g.
Porsche/Microsoft exclusive license runs out and allows PD to include them as a download pack...

I wouldnt be complaining.

You can always choose not to buy DLC.

Yeah, I think that's it.

I'll be gunnin for Cruise first, then onto Rubens!

New dates from Polish shop:

November 30, 2010 (world premiere)
December 3, 2010 (release date in Poland)
December 3, 2010 (European release date) (PAL)
November 30, 2010 (U.S. release date) (NTSC)

Last I heard, car packs in FMIII doesn't get mixed in the single player career or something along those lines, so yeah, GT5 better not follow that :|

It would be awesome if some celebrities actually set a time in GT5, which you can then load as a 'ghost' and try to beat them

Yeah, it's not like PD has only supplied a small amount of cars/features in the game to begin with. I'm all for them updating with new cars/tracks later down the line to add even more to the overwhelming amount of content that the game came shipped with. Don't want it, don't buy it. DLC can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on the developer and how much is actually in the game to start with.

Yeah a 'ghost' would be ideal, but dunno if they have all the GPS data for recreating those.

Because it (the DLC stuff) has already been made/created but instead of putting it in the game which you just bought they charge you to unlock it.

MW2's map packs were designed and built and on the disc from day 1 - you just payed $20 to unlock it. It's a very bad direction for games to be heading in.

The celebrity lap times would be good enough, plus you would probably get a tutorial from The Stig as well.

I just thought, why not have Jezza commentating during your lap?

SEMA is on for one last day isnt it? Are we still hoping for anything from it? When is the next announcement likely to come or are we just waiting for sony to release a random press release?

Where did you get that idea from. We established what it meant straight away.

I agree. GT5 development has got to be paid for and at the end of the day Sony/PD are companies that exist to make a profit. I would be surprised if they gave us much DLC for free.

The price for us to buy the basic GT5, when it does finally arrive, is a complete bargain for the enormous amount of content that we expect to receive - I expect to get hundreds, if not thousands of hours of enjoyment from it. I wouldn't even get a tiny fraction of that enjoyment from the equivalent DVDs I could get for the same price for example.

That all depends on the publisher/developer. PD's track record proves they like to cram as much content into one $60 disc as possible. They don't have the "make a quick buck" tendencies that a lot of developers have. I doubt we would see paid DLC within weeks of GT5 hitting shelves.

Not all DLC is like that. Rockstar's latest for Red Dead Redemption turns the entire game world into a zombie apocolypse and has its own six hour campaign and new mutliplayer modes to go along with it. DLC can be a wonderful thing!

I'd happily pay for car packs down the line. Something like Lotus' five Paris Motorshow concepts

Why not let the celebrities take a spin on the ps3? Just install a GT5 booth at TG headquarters, so celebrities can set a 'real-life' time and a virtual one..

But GPS would work as well I guess.
