im no expert

but with 10 years experience in photo editing programs including adobe photoshop.

that is 100% not a photoshoped image

either that or the person that has done it is a serious PS pro.

that is 100% a real disc, and i would bet a fair amount of cash thats real...

I'm just thinking really, you'd have you create everything from scratch. From the wheel, (a gen 2 Rays Engineering/Volk Racing TE37, ironically represented in GT5) and then all the writing around the rim. You would have to write/copy each of the writings and logos from everything else to create the graphic and unless you were really bored (we do have time to wait however) it is real.

I disagree the yellow text is pointing not to a peel, but at the edge of the wheel, and well I dunno about that black text...

Nice work, that's the clearest we've seen the Lexus LFA!!

For a second i thought the car after with the huge wing was the Honda HSV-10, but I think it's an aston martin.

I think it's mostly the reflections on the edge, not the picture coming off the disc. Even if you put the label on that day or the day before, it's not going to lift off this soon. It's not lifting, it's a blurry pic and there are reflections.

Anyway, no one says the disc has to be related to the box art, and since we've never seen any pictures of the TE37 pictured, it is a perfect background for the disc.

I think the right hand side part which you are pointing at are part of the wheel rim ,look at the rim just slightly further down it has the same texture
 
I’ve just noticed something with that picture, and feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

The cover star of GT5 is the AMG SLS. Those Alloy wheels are not the standard alloy wheels of the SLS.

Either they've chosen a default set of alloys for the picture, the picture is a fake or I’m very wrong!

More pictures of the disc or case won't really show proof, actual images & or video of GT World, tuning shop, Car Dealership etc., would be need to distinguish it from a just another demo.

I'll be honest, it could be a fake. But, I've had game discs before that were a little rough around the edges like in the picture. Lighting and angle can also create these illusions. Plus, it seems to be a bit glossy.

Isn´t the pic a photoshopped version of GT2´s disk?

Mine was pretty similar to that.

how else you think they make designs ???

either way , sony or a faker would use photoshop..

what im saying is

the logo's, writing around the rim etc is too proffesional for a fake.

there are some very handy photoshop guys out there...

but this is TOO GOOD to be a fake.

and besides which...

he woul dhave to own a serious KICK ASS printer to come out with that quality..

The wheel is like I've mentioned a couple times, a second gen TE37 wheel made by Rays Engineering/Volk Racing. They are a huge wheel manufacture in Japan and since it is a newer wheel, it will probably also be available in GT5
 
didnt GT 2 have a scratch and sniff disc? i wonder if a new smell is causing the delay of GT5's discs. new car smell perhaps?

Am not saying it isn't fake but its an Australian disc, with an Australian rating and SCEE cover Australia so there is nothing wrong in that respect.
 
Where about can you find the gt5 on neogaf? I google it but just get a forum with a bunch of other games?
