Well, the videos posted make it obvious that the Miata is an entry car to GT5's career (very much like in GT3) and that the first level of racing is in small tracks featuring fields of 8.

I'm not sure I like the other cars (AI drivers) having names ...
 
Is anyone else beginning to think that they might not announce a release date and instead just release the game? More than a couple of people already have the game in hand and I just can't see how all of them came from B-ray factories. Pure speculation, but I have to imagine that these have begun to show up at some retailers.
 
Like in GT PSP there´s only a few cars to choose from at the start.
 
If i had a dollar for every person who linked to the fake IGN_UK twitter account, I could probably afford the Signature Edition.

This, now, and three weeks till I get mine ? Outrageous. Give me my GT5 !(;

Glad to hear 👍 I personally think it looks great and am even more excited watching it in 720p. :drool:
 
Im finding it hard to believe that standard cars will not have interior or interior view every car on pspgt had it also they all had see through windows.

The video is only 43 seconds long but from what I saw, they are copy-paste straight out of GT4, with no improvements whatsoever :( .
What most amazes me is that there isn't even anything new, not even minor added details on Standards to show they've been updated: no new modelled doorhandles instead of textured, no new modelled badges instead of textured, the rims on those cars look 2D not 3D and a few others but let's not get too long.

On the positive side, amazing detail on the Miata as always with the Premiums :) . Lighting effects are amazing. Track looks excellent. Looking forward to experiencing those things including weather of course ;) .

It's just blogspam. Early/mid December is much more likely. This is just blatant overspeculation.

Couldn't agree more, I'm pretty sure that Toyota Voltz that was shown in that video wasn't a premium, it looked very good for being a standard, I too am happy with the outcome of standards.

I guess I'm the only person who'd rather see a track list than the intro movie.

But thank you for what ever videos you give us, I'm not going to start getting fussy, lets face it, you are giving us more than Sony and PD at the moment, so thanks.

Don't believe anything until you hear it from either GTplanets news section, or from the official site.
 
I seriously thought they would have been worse, I mean, I thought they would look like GT4 models with a coating of wax on top, like the images we saw some time ago from the Pescarolo.

Iam also disapointed with how it looks. I mean, if it were a standard game like Forza it would be very nice. But after 5 years in development the newest Gran Turismo game should look alot better than that.

Think of it as A-Spec\B-Spec points from GT4, but now with levels attached to them! It's the same thing, but now they have a purpose! Way before any of those Forza games had hit the market!

That's not what I'm concerned about. It appears most cars will be blocked off until the game wants to you buy them. Laaaaaaaaaaaame. This will make the initial magical browse through the dealership when I first get the game far less exciting.

And I'm sure it's been mentioned a million times, but Bugatti is standard confirmed :(
