Anyone that has the game seen endurance races yet ? I turned lvl 20 A-Spec yesterday, opened extreme, and to my suprise I did not see any endurance races. Maybe I was just to sleepy to notice ... did anyone see any yet ?
guys, I have ordered a standard edition of GT5 from a local store (European English Edition) and i have also ordered the Collector's Edition from Amazon (I assume it is the US version). Are those 2 Edition the same? I'm asking because I wanted to play the local edition until i get the Collector's edition from US and then give the standard one to me nephew but I'm not sure if I will be able to continue the progress with a new disk.
I think it does more than just unlocking features. It's a 133 MB patch after all.
One of the many undocumented things it does is unlocking a more complete installation option.

Actually it does in the friends section of the XMB you can voice or video chat, don't know about private chat in GT though, but it will have online in-game chat. Hope that helps
I'm afraid Xchat hasn't been added (yet) for the PS3, it should have been added with the PS Plus deal thing, but god knows why they didn't bother. Its one feature everyone with a headset and a PS3 wants. It sucks!!

I'm used to playing my Xbox 360 and on that you can Private Chat or Party Chat
Now me and a few friends have went and bought the official Sony PS3 headsets so we can chat while playing but will we be able to?
I mean is there a chat function whether it be in-game or on the console? (excluding playing online as we will be playing GT-Life when we want to chat).
Basically I want to be chatting to my buddys while playing - i cant imagine playing without doing that, its like going back to the dark ages pre - xbox 360

But looks like i wasted my money as i wont be using it much if there are no chat features - i'll post in the other thread as its a joke, no wonder my PS3 has been a glorified blu ray player in my house.

You cant have that perspective of it when the PS3 has never had the ability so you couldnt even sample it unless you had a 360 in which i dont know anyone who doesnt talk or use chat no matter what your doing.
Okay, so let me get this straight, i slot in the disk, then i have the 1.01 patch which takes about 10 minutes, then we have the mandatory install which takes about 30 minutes? and THEN we have the optional instal which takes about 50 minutes and THEN I will get to Play? It's gonna be torture

My game just arrived, one day earlier than expected and that from Amazon. I love Amazon. So to all people just enjoy the game, I'll start playing 'til next week without sleep
There's a party chat on the PS3, right at the top of the friends list bit. No idea if it has voice but definetly text and you can add whoever you want.
