In one hour I go to check at my work if DHL is arrived, then i go to the manager for GT5,
Maybe If got GT5 within an hour or else in 9 hours :) finally
 
Just picked up my copy of GT5 at my local dealer.
I'm a little bit angry though since they didn't get a single Collectors edition. I pre-ordered it but when they ordered from Sony they were told that it's sold out. :/

So I just ordered the CE from Amazon UK. Gonna sell the standard edition then.

My game just arrived, one day earlier than expected and that from Amazon. I love Amazon. So to all people just enjoy the game, I'll start playing 'til next week without sleep ;)

thats makes me optimistic, mine got dispatched yesterday morning, postman is due anytime soon :) gah i can't wait. only problem the chimley sweep man is due at 12 and will ruin anysort of playtime i have with it for a good half an hour- an hour. i may have to perform some muderous, shove him up the shoot ( i tried to word that as non rude as possible ;) ) act just so i can't play the game 💡

I'm sooo jealous! I tried to find GT5 this morning, but in MediaMarkt, Empik, Auchan and Tesco there was no single sign of it. Not even single poster. Only Black Ops and NFS. I hope tommorow GT5 will be here.

Damned guys! I just remembered something. We know now that a 133MB patch is needed tu use online play right? The question here is why, you would assume they were not done with it and here it gets interesting: I remember a post on the news section when the game was delayed and one guy said that an insiede PD-source told him the only reason for the delay was that Polyphony was nowhere near comleting the online part of the game, now it kinda seems to turn out as truth. I am really excited to see if all has been implemented what has been promised, if not, then a fail for PD, again. *melody*: Oops, they did it again...:lol:

Edit: And wow only 57 members here, I guess at least 50% here have the game already and I will get it only on wednesday after all, which sucks.

Ah I see you lived once in Hannover, well you know what, the weather still sucks! :lol: (right now: rain-3 degrees, but at least some snow fall is expected this week)

Well its all falling into place for me now. Heading to Dick Smith to pick up my DFGT tomorrow, then heading to EB for my collectors ed on thurs. Swaped my day shift for an overnight on thurs so ill get a whole day in before I have to start. Should be a good few years!

Nice, I picked up someone else's G27 from Dick Smith last sunday (it was a pre order for someone else but they hadnt picked it up).

JB told me I couldn't get one until December at the earliest, Dick's told me after the one I had, they couldn't get anymore until January, and all the Victorian Stores on Staticice were showing out of stock... I'm counting my lucky starts.

Also picked up a Samsung LED 32inch 100hz. My brother got the same screen a new PS3 and a racing rig.

All we need to do now is wait until the 25th for our pre orders!

Don't talk then.
If you don't want to hear others then turn them down, it's that simple.

A lot of us use the chat for spotting during the races also.
It's great to hear that you cleared the car in front and can take the driving line again without hitting the other car.
This was great for racing at Daytona with a team mate, pushing our way to the front.
The problem I have with chat is the fact that others blare music, yell at their kids/parents/siblings, talk crap, etc. etc., but that won't go away. Kids are kids.
It's a great feature many abuse. So I turn them down.

Sorry to stray off topic.
 
I'm in the ultimate tease position... I have the signature edition preordered, which i wasnt sure i could pay off until today. But I dont have a ps3 yet :( Still,, the extras will be nice, I need a new wallet.. Hehe.
 
erm anyone know how long it should take to boot gt5 the first time its stuck on the gt5 logo after the install :S

can a person who has the game answer this for me!

Does your game stop working when you have the ethernet cable plugged in? it just stopped working right now! dont know if its some kind of update or if they shutdown the network mode for the game, please answer as fast as possible

one more thing!!! why tha hell does the ending movie come after finishing the proffesional stage???!!!! thats just nuts! the game has alot more races left
