can a person who has the game answer this for me!

Does your game stop working when you have the ethernet cable plugged in? it just stopped working right now! dont know if its some kind of update or if they shutdown the network mode for the game, please answer as fast as possible

one more thing!!! why tha hell does the ending movie come after finishing the proffesional stage???!!!! thats just nuts! the game has alot more races left

Not sure about the ethernet cable thing,but on the ending i'm expecting at least 3 ending movies for this game.Heck,they could be more considering all the different events.

Installed, played, game froze after upgrading car now everything I start the game it sits at the menu and I can't do anything! Well worth the wait! Now uninstalling and starting again to see if that helps. :-(
 
I bought a PS3 when it was launched in anticipation for this game. And it has pretty much stood in the corner gathering dust since. Just got the game, tried to install to hard drive waited 30 minutes, got to 3 seconds remaining, then nothing. Game would not load. 2nd attempt fine. 1st impressions oh dear! went straight to course editor, created a track, tracks are very bland, massive pop up and pop out. Arcade race, reflections on the bonnets are dire! they are very rough and slow to react. Cardboard cut out trees do not look good. Overall the graphics are ok. The actual driving seems ok .Completely underwhelmed by it at the moment, sure it will grow on me though.

Maybe they were just Beta testing the servers and they did not knew that almost everyone already got the game 💡

The game's not even supposed to be out yet. Why the shock that the online portion isn't ready for people to play the game?
 
I've got the game this lunchtime from my local games shop and now I've got to wait until 5PM (that's 3 hours and 35 minutes from now) to finish work, then face a 45 minute commute home, then download a 133MB patch, then install 6.4 to 10GB of data before I can finally play it.

Whatever happened to the good old days when you just put in the disc and play?

Still if you don't learn patience waiting 5 years for PD to do their stuff then you're probably never going to learn it.

Anyone that has the game seen endurance races yet ? I turned lvl 20 A-Spec yesterday, opened extreme, and to my suprise I did not see any endurance races. Maybe I was just to sleepy to notice ... did anyone see any yet ?

I think there are some endurance races because there is a secret trophy in the game for comoleting the endurance series.
How long do you need to come to level 20? And are there more race events in the higher series than in the lower ones?
 
It gets to the splash page and still isnt loading?

IM at Level 16 and have been pkaying for a while, I hope this isnt happening because of that? But i think its just network issues??

The online portion of GT5 was fine last night for me, but I guess no one was online?
 
Lol I just finished B license all gold... Took me 3hrs now it hangs.. Removed all data, hopefully this will work. Overall the game is very nice, but this pisses me off. :S
 
My order on amazon.ca went to *shipping soon*, but it still says that it will ship on the 29th of November... I hope it ships this week, as I would really love to have it for the weekend...

I'm in Québec by the way :)
 
I can pick up my collectors edition, but I won't be home from work before closing time.
I hope my girlfriend has time to pick it up for me.....:nervous:
 
game wont get past the opening sequence for me,its stuck in a continuose loop and no matter what buttons i press it doesnt do a thing.

Don't uninstall, go and read the patch thread guys. The game servers are down or under heavy load. Disconnect from psn and play the game in offline mode and you won't have any problems.
 
Maybe because like famine said this game hasn't even been released yet, the online mode won't be working 100% until the 24th guys. C'mon seriously?

It's funny knowing there's people waiting till the 24th (I know some retailers released it early via shipping to get there on the 24th) but as far as the rest of the world, the games official release isn't till the 24th, which means main public server that hosts games and your profile info won't be open till the 24th.
