Little write up, the shadows are awful, I was in the Zonda R when I spun and there was like a pixel glitch. Then, I was underwhelmed by standard cars, I only drive cockpit view so the lack of it was terrible ((for me)) exterior wise, they look really good.

Positives, everything else. (too many to list)

There must be a menu bug???? I am online, and entering GT mode it asks for the Home settings, then a screen for 'basic information setting' where you can do whatever you want, you cannot get the game to respond by clicking on 'OK'.

Thus I cant play GT mode while i am logged in online as it demands this setup every time you enter Gt mode logged into PSN.

HELP?

EDIT: After quitting and back into the game 5 times, it allowed me into GT mode while online without asking the questions and getting unresponsive at said 'basic info setting' screen. Be warned people...

Be patient when something is setup online cause it takes some time. You made this 5 times but it is not the way. With only one and wait a few minutes works.👍

Yes we know that just from prologue too...but nothing important...maybe some update or this one tomorrow to 1.01 version and maybe they fix it.👍
It looks bad in photomode when is mixed with dust.

awesome news! my eb just called me telling me my collectors edition is ready for pick up tomorrow! soooo happy! I'm glad my copy wasn't part of those two trailers that got jacked or maybe it was and they have limited copies so they reserve it for the ones who preordered early...regardless i'm very happy :cheers:

I did the same thing, preordered two months ago and my delivery estimate is November 30th. :grumpy:

I'm probably going to end up buying it from Best Buy tomorrow and returning my other copy to amazon.

EBGames called, and they said my preorder copy (collector's) will be ready to pick up tomorrow XD
 
So the question is - do I go to Fred Meyer tonight and buy GT5 in cash, or wait until my pre-order at GameStop tomorrow and trade in two brand new Xbox 360 games and get it for free? Decisions decisions
 
this game is actually the BIGGEST PS£ game ever. this is meant to get xbox 360 users to migrate to the PS3. sony need to put in the effort and money into the advertising campaign if you ask me, cuz i'm not seeing no ads in my area.

I am more than satisfied with what GT5 basicly is. The best FEELING (overall) driving game that ever hit any game market.

How long do you play to reach level 20 in the A spec mode? Whats with the graphic? I hear some guys who are really disappointed about it. Are they right?

I actually ordered on July 24 - and after the delay from 11/2 my order showed ship date of 12/31...after reading others saying they canceled and reordered to get the date to be correct, I canceled and reordered on 11/16 and the ship date showed 11/23 - I do have Amazon prime and release date delivery is part of the deal.
 
This game should be reviewed from a perspective against other car games, specifically Forza 3. From what I have seen early, if this game doesn't rate at least 15% above Forza then I question the reviewers credentials. I played Forza 2 on the crappy 360 wheel and did enjoy it, but then got GT5p, with the logitech G25, and Forza was bye bye. I even went back and restarted GT4 with the G25(which I played with the DS2 since it's release), and passed time this year waiting for GT5 to release. Bought Forza 3, and played it....8 times i think. Driving physics are non-existent. Don't care about the overall score of this game verses games like Black Ops, but it damn well better be better than the "auto-steering" Forza 3.
 
Good news for Amazon UK customers even if you have already been charged. The new price is £35.90 for GT5, you will be refunded to your bank if already paid.
 
So i bought the ps3/gt5 bundle and promised myself not to play untill i get home as i am in Belgium for work untill thursday. Needless to say I couldn't wait and connected the ps3 to the crappy hotel tv.
Simply AWESOME!!! I made my own track on which i testdrive cars in arcade mode. (don't want to start gt mode untill i am home)
No other words then fantastic! The sound of the maseratti gran turismo s is devine. I even like the menu music.
So glad i decided to unpack the ps3...

I'm trying to enter my GT5 Collector's Edition redeem code in the Playstation Store, but it's not accepted: "The code you entered may not be correct or is no longer valid. Check your entries".

I have checked and rechecked, and the code is correct. I assume that the code in that extra little booklet is meant give us the extra cars.

Does anybody know what could be wrong?

Oh yeah, and here it is in all its glory :)

I really don´t care about reviews...if the game that i really want is really good and have all things that i really wanted to see...my score will be 10...GT5 has all...👍
Forget about forza...doesn´t exist...

Oh...wait until tomorrow to enter the code maybe it works...did you upgrade to last version of GT5 ? (1.01)
