Mine is here tomorrow...i´m now going to bed.
I must wake up early in about 5 hours :crazy: cause the "mail man" don´t know the code of the door to enter the building...and if he can´t enter he goes with my game again to the warehouse and try it tomorrow (25). They call sometimes when he comes but never know...i can´t take that risk...
Imagine me in about 5 hours waiting for him all day long.:dopey:

Just received my copy of GT5 from Subway, will be doing the download here shortly.

ps. Before someone comes up with picture or it didn't happen, i don't lie! This is just mainly for people here that won the game from Subway. It also came by fedex.

You guys are killing me! I have a physics exam tonight at 7pm local time and all I want to do is go find the game. Lol Waiting until my local GameStop opens at 10am ( no midnight release >.< ) Is going to be absolutely horrible. I shall just be on here, watching all of your comments lol

Yes as I have done the same until 10am EST. I don't think I'll even sleep much tonight.:nervous:

Don't feel bad, I got the same answer all 10-15 times I asked. Nobody in this state seems to be doing a midnight release.
 
I just want to say, after 5 years, all of this waiting has come to an end. We can finally play the game we all have been waiting for, & one of many reasons why we have bought a PS3 due to GT5, atleast for most of us. GTP has been a discraction for this long wait, which is a great thing. :sly: Lets have fun, happy racing, happy drifting, HAPPY EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I gotta wait until freakin' December 1st or 2nd because of my amazon pre-order... :( Hopefully they ship it before the 29th and I get it for this weekend!!! It currently says *shipping soon*. Here's hoping it ships tomorrow :D
 
My first day with GT5 was a good one 👍 Got a bit of everything done, I'm loving it.

this game is actually the BIGGEST PS£ game ever. this is meant to get xbox 360 users to migrate to the PS3. sony need to put in the effort and money into the advertising campaign if you ask me, cuz i'm not seeing no ads in my area.

The only ad I saw was on Comedy Central. It was the Kevin Butler one. I was told it would air during the Colts game Sunday, but didn't see it there.

Did a stupid thing today. I had pre-ordered the game from blockbuster and they called to say it will be ready to pick up on the 24th. I tried my luck and went in today to ask if 'The game i had pre-ordered was here'. He opened the drawer with all the pre-order games in and there it was! my copy of GT5 all shiney and new!! I asked if i could have it and he replied 'Can't sell it until tomorrow'. It was just there, i was sooo close, literally a metre away from it! I had two options. Smack the jobsworth over the head with my rucksack, jump him, grab the game and run or walk out. Option 'B' although the most sensible, never feels good once followed.

You could order from ebay and have it shipped to you. I was on there eariler and there are hundreds. Good luck to you.👍
 
I think they should have a Standard Car Pack made up of all the missing cars from previous GT games like the Vectors and some of the old LM editions that never survived like the 3000GT LM Edition and the TT LM Edition.

And then they could have a Premium Car pack made up of 8-10 premium cars chosen by fans and PD. :)
 
anyone with g27 out there? i cant map the buttons on any wheel setup

I've been a lurker and occasional poster for ages. I've been waiting patiently for GT5 to come out. Have a family and a business (sold it a couple months ago) so I have plenty to keep me busy, therefore gaming takes a back seat to everthing else. I'm going out of town Thursday and won't be back until March. Honestly waiting three more months after so much waiting wasn't bothering me before, but lately I've been glued to this site and am in awe of how great GT5 is going to be. The leaks, first impressions, and sheer joy of everyone who posts "Got my copy!" are really getting me anxious. Now these three months away from home are eating me up! Even though I don't have much time for gaming, I feel like I'll be missing out on something special after so much anticipation of GT5 these past two years.

I hope everyone enjoys the game as much as I will when I get back, and I'm sure I will return to a huge, dedicated online community. Here's to not being able to stop playing GT5 until GT6 comes out! I think with minimal effort by Sony and PD this game can last for years and my three month, poorly-planned-November-25th-start-date-holiday will seem like nothing once 2013 hits and there are still thousands of people racing online everyday.

I got similar message from Bestbuy, but thru email. I thought about heading out there, but the email did tell me not to show up before 11/24. :D

P.S. I thought only Japanese called them rucksacks!
 
12 more hours for me. If anybody tries to stop me tomorrow morning, things will happen.
