I hope so too. I'm really loving this game so far, but I still can't help but feel a tad bit disappointed by some of the limited content.

Yea I cant find no were in GTLIFE to change between standard & pro physics, and I cant find anywere to change difficulty level. Can someone please help
 
Am I missing something? I push the gas pedal to the floor in a 500hp+ car with traction-control turned off and it DOESN'T burnout? And what about pressing the brake and gas pedal down at the same time? Doesn't work in GT5 like Forza3.
 
Finally! I just received my SE from Amazon. About to launch/update, will report back if any issues occur. Cheers

PS; D/L and Install of the patch took about one minute. Once launched I chose to install the full game, it said 8GB, about 30 minutes. No issues so far...

Do the pre-order codes expire?I pre-ordered from Gamestop so i will get the Mclaren F1 Stealth and Gamestop Nascar but my PS3 is broken so i am borrowing my nephews and installing as i type.It may be a month before i can get myself another PS3 but i'm going to use his until then.My question is will my pre-order codes ever expire?And where is the code for them at?There is no code on my receipt nor inside the game case.:nervous:

You can (Hopefully) install it on your nephews ps3, and then once you get your own, you can recover your account on your new system, go through the downloads (At the store there is a downloaded, or download history button) , and then download the voucher again.
I dont know how it works with vouchers and bonuses, but themes and games can all be re-downloaded on other ps3's as long as you get your profile on it.
 
Okay, so I've bought my copy of GT5 and am absolutely loving it. But I remember reading that you can play your own music while playing the game but whenever I try to play music it brings up a message saying that music cannot be played, any help?

Anyone have issues with GT5 getting hung up at the layer info screen? I selected what I wanted to be open or just for friends, hit ok, and nothing happens. Kind of frustrating...

Yeah Me too it hangs when I start up the game after signing in it wont lt me choose anything, vid plays in background

found a fix for now...just unplug ethernet cable and go into menu and plug cable in again

options>audio>enable custom music ONLY ROR RACING SO YOU CANT CHANGE THE INTrO SONG OR MENU MUSIC

Here is my brief opinion of the game so far it is a definite simulation first and some sort of elegant video game second.

my only gripe so far is the weird colors while driving down ssr7. lights should be white instead of green

I finally got my copy of GT5. Gamestop didn't have that Prima strategy guide book so I could read it while I was doing my install. Went to Wal-Mart instead. They had the book, but the stinking thing wouldn't scan and one lady said "the book has a recall".

I wanted something to read!:grumpy::grumpy::grumpy::grumpy:

EDIT: By the way, this install has said 20 mins left for 7 mins now, and it's 1/4 done. 1.01 update finished in 5 mins.
 
Is there a way to map gas and brakes to R2 and L2 instead of X and Square?

Also, I was never offered the chance to do the full install... can't find it in any of the menus either :(

I just wanted to ask this question but my disc doesn't look like the early versions I have seen. Does anybody know why mine has the SLS on it and the other ones have just the wheel?

Feels about the weight of a pack of Oreo's :) So about a pound maybe a little more.
 
Not sure if Im going blind but I cant seem to find the Nurburgring (not the GP versions in arcade mode) anywhere apart from in the special mercedes challenge thing.

Whats going on?

Maybe different discs for different regions. Don't quote me on that.
 
Waited for so long... Now the wait at work while my copy sits patiently in the passenger seat of my MINI... This wait seems longer for some reason. BTW, this is my first post as new member, great forum!

In GT5 i just discovered that if you have come to a full stop on track and then hold the hand brake and let go the hand brake stays on, stopping you from rolling down slopes on the track. Excellent.

Seriously? Wow I thought it would be more than that...
 
My full disk install has frozen for the 3rd time now. Kind of annoying...
Restarting it makes it 'shorter' every time though so it seems at least it keeps track of what data was already installed.

I'm pretty sure it's different discs for different regions.Remember the wheel disc?That guy was from Europe.I'm in NC too and i have the Red SLS on my disc too.
