Don't give the guy a super car. I've bought him a Lancer and tuned it to 300-400 BHP on the way up. He does it fine. I gave him my Stealth SLS once , but that was the biggest fail ever. So build it up. Start with a normal car.

You have to figure this is Bob's first or second time behind the wheel, depending on how you've set up Bob. Any body make Bob have a hot head? I do believe I saw this in the settings.:drool:
 
My B-Spec bob is winning races now. Easy ones.

He gains experience on cars, and tracks. So 3rd or 4th time he starts doing better, eventually. Change track and he's all over the place...

"Save best lap replay" has anybody come across this, Looking through the GT manual on the main desktop (first screen) in paragraph 6-13 under Replays.
I have tried to see if it's under Time Trial, but haven't seen it yet. Probably feature remove?.

In many of the Special Events, when there is a standing start, my car has engaged the third gear, when there is a rolling star (ie, AMG challenge, second intermediate event), the car automatically downshifts when START appears...

Have you experienced that?

If you are using a paddleshifter for this make sure you have not left the h-shifter in 3rd gear. That happened to me a few times.

I would like to download/view and upload replays for other to view..... When can we expect this?

Yeah, I am using a G27 setup, I'd swear I had my h-shifter in neutral... but yesterday I was quite tired... :dunce:
 
Well, I love the way it's setup in terms of gears. Even in H, you can always use the paddles. Very useful when using H and clutch and you miss a gear. But if you forget to leave in neutral, you can get that :(

Has anyone received the Roll Over Trophy? I was tryin for gold on the A-2, Atenza Sport 25Z. Once you come out of the last corner, steer right real hard while holding your e-brake. Make sure to smack the barrier and you will roll the car. I thought it was luck, but I've been able to do it over and over. I am using a DFGT, so not sure if possible with a controller. Happy Driving All.

Veyron at LeMans, got two trophies down the straight, 400kph, and as i smacked in to the wall at the very end the car took half a backflip and landed on the roof. 2 trophies in 5 - 10 sec.

You are my man! I have the some piece. Unfortunately I don't have the game yet due to the post office delay. But I want your opinion on the wheel. I did tested it in GT5Prologue and I liked it but not too much. Have you seen any improvement since prologue, especially in feedback? I'd appreciate your help.

Sorry i haven't played GT5 Prologue :( but i have to say it is the finest wheel i've ever used, the feedback of the wheel is good in GT5 (my opinion) i can control the cars perfectly it's 1 to 1 i would say.

I buy McLaren F1 tuned him and make him to look like F1 LM and it's super fast and great to drive!!! :))))))))))))
 
Once i gomplete GT mode (Single Player) i am going to put the game away with my collection of Gran turismo's. then wait for GT6
 
aye the use of a wheel is how to play gt5. I have the DFGT, and absolutley thrilled to bits with it. this morning i brought the bmw concept 1, and then went onto to do the SLS AMG intermeadiate challenges, and just throwing that around the N'schliefe is just amazing. going round it with a pad can be fustrating, it may help i learnt the track more than ever on shift, so i could a pretty good free flowing ride around it with the odd mistake, but yeah just Amazing.

And the fact that each car is different, just means its a pleasure learning the cars as well as the car, i found the Clio V6 a bit of a challenge, but the more powerful AMG a little easier to drive.
 
Clio V6 difficult? Wow! Till now it was the best to drive since it had magic ultra fast turn in without very much oversteer. By reading reviews in car magazines it was tough to handle the real-life car. happy that GT5 simulates this car correctly!

Depends what model, the old one would kill you. While the later one had amazing grip until you exceed it, then you die. Essentially they just added some more time before you die on the later model.

I did on a snowy trail for the GT Rally.
I came down a long hill and was suppose to turn right quickly, but didn't and rolled.
Surprised me at first. :rolleyes:

There are options for online play (like letting anyone change the course) which were certainly overlooked in favor of whining.
