Well it's like past GT games, where you get the ending video before 100%. I'm at 34%, and have gotten the ending video.

:( I get a notice that says "You cannot use this function, as you are not currently online".

I was able to access online before that, and I'm also logged in my PSN.

Does it log you out of the PSN when you try to go online (In GT5)? If not your probably still online, but it does not recognize you for some reason. I'd check your online connections and see if it's the game, the PS3, or your rouder.

How does that work ?

Why can't I (meaning my b-spec) driver win the lightweight cup or the yaris race my car's are more powerful and I have won those in a-spec what give all the other b-spec races are done on my beginner set
 
the B-spec drivers suck at those two races for some reason.

The lightweight cup I gave him a 135 HP car that I had souped up with suspension and tires too.

My 2nd driver came in 3rd, my 1st driver came in 2nd. I guess they need some more help than twice the power of the competition. Kind of crazy that they can't manage to win with almost twice the horsepower of the next car.

I beat that race in a stock car that was slower than the competition, and they can't even beat it in one almost twice as fast as the competition.

You have to be a clean and smooth driver to race a low powered car like that, and my drivers are neither. They're kinda violent and use the brakes way too much. Brakes are your enemy when you only have 120 HP or something.
 
Can anyone tell me what cars you can race mod? I seem to have only gotten lucky with the Z06 and ZR-1.

If you make them go slower they actually drive faster :)
If they are pushing too hard(on the max of the red bar) they are not going as fast as they would 3/4 way up the red bar.
They brake too heavily and erraticly when they are pushing on the limit, reel them back a bit and they get alot smoother.

You have to issue them slow pace command then hold them at that pace.
When in a pack of cars their bar thends to shoot to the max-red so you have to constantly issue slow commands till they are clear of the pack , or at least till they don't have another driver snapping at their heels.

By doing this they will go quicker. Takes practice to know what the optimum place on the red/blue bar is for different cars.

Re ending credits: I got it at 10% completion :lol: Didn't even watch it..

I think it was that race you are on about that I had problems too, what I did was some setting tweaks too
think i increased camber on the wheels and altered brake bias forward a bit and maybe some gear tweak too, can't remember really, so try setup change.

Just noticed something stupid, you need to be level 21 to drive the NASCAR championship races, you HAVE to use a NASCAR to enter, but you can't buy one until level 22... weird...

Unless you pre-ordered from Gamestop in the US, in which case I already have one.
 
You can win a NASCAR in the Jeff Gordon challenge at level 21. Now I have two, thanks to the preorder bonus with a NASCAR included.
 
I'm mad about the whole painting system, I'm too scared to paint my cars and so I just collect paint tickets. and all i ever get is a range of different whites.

Depends what model, the old one would kill you. While the later one had amazing grip until you exceed it, then you die. Essentially they just added some more time before you die on the later model.

I finally managed to get 4,203,000 credits saved up. Now I'm in abit of a dilemma though. Should I get the Peugeot 908 HDI for the "Like the wind" and "Gran Turismo All Stars" Championship, or should I wait until the Formula GT shows up and get it instead for the Formula GT championship?

First race is 300km Grand Valley.
After that ... as far as I remember, was late yesterday
4 hours roadster
...
4 hours something ...
...
500km something
1000km something (i think suzuka)
...
9 hours tsukuba
24 hours le mans
24 hours nürburg


Was pretty sleepy. Sorry for the missing bits. I take a photo when I get to my PS3 next time.

Oh boy that will be fun to play :) (on weekends)
 
Is anyone else still waiting for a stealth code from amazon ?
I recieved the 787 car code but not the mcClaren one they sent an email saying the codes were delayed but i still havent got it.

Is there an in race save button for endurance events?
 
Interesting bodykit, I haven't seen it yet in my game, maybe it unlocks later on :crazy:

MG intermediate event in overcast conditions?! Staggering lighting and contrast effects....
 
And on Anthony's note I'd also like to say the Audi R10 cockpit view is immense.

You can get the chrome paint by completing one of the beginner races with gold trophy, i only had about 10 cars in my garage.
 
It's a bit rubbish that there's no online ranking system and you get nothing for winning.. In prologue you at least got some money
Also GT5 was on the gadget show last night
