Well I'm a little sad, hoped damage would be for the whole game and not just online, is there a full list of the details for the update somewhere ?

You can actually feel some of the subtlties of the road then. Anthing higher and it just gets overly heavy and adds canned effects that detract from the experience.

Are you sure about that? While i was driving PC sims i always turned off those canned effects in Control Panel.. are you saying that in GT5/PS3 the canned effects are actually that higher FF levels?
 
Hey, when you guys go into community to see which one of your friends are online, do your friends be listed as offline knowing they're on?

For the record, no I haven't had that problem yet.
 
The server is acting up again, I had to sign out of PSN to avoid extremely long loading screen. Time to up the server number to 2 million, PD.

:D what does this mean?? It's a sort of proverb? don't know why but made me laugh....


BTW tried a bit more the mech. damage online and works fine enough, nice to see noobz crashing with a zonda in the first monaco corner and then get surpassed by an m3 because they can't control the car anymore....

I'm just gonna leave this be. I don't want to get an infraction for the things that I actually want to say.

Each week during the initial five-week time trial period, players can get a free digital download just for competing in the time trial events, regardless of where they are in the rankings. Each week a new item will be available

So, there will be 5 DLC items throughout the competition. So, even if you're not a great racer, it's worth it to sign up.

Can i sign up with my US account, even though i'm from EU?

The only thing I noticed from increasing FF levels in GT5 was heavier centering spring effect. I thought that the wheel was far too heavy to turn at these settings. For me it feels nicer at 1 or 2, if you want a heavy wheel go to 3 maybe. I think the effects in GT5 are fairly poor regarding force feedback so you are not getting the feeling from the steering rack or the tyres transmitted to your FF wheel, so increasing it just makes it heavier, it also increases the strength of the effect sure, but as I said I'd rather they were not increased as they are not correctly done and just put me off.
It's very much a feeling thing though, so different strokes for different folks ;)

Hi is there a wide body kit for the C 63 AMG ?
I could have sworn I saw a red one in the photo mode galleries but can't seem to find it
just curious and another thing why are there no parts for my C63 AMG in the shop ?
I can do front spoilers and wings no side skirts or rear bumber mods ?
Do we unlock them later ? (parts I mean)

I don't know but I think yes, but I don't know if you'll be able to transfer the dlcs cars to your primary account then :indiff:....

Actually, you can't 'cause you need a US street address.

But do you mean you can't create an US account or actually sign in the gt academy competition? It's quite easy to crate a US account, just use a fake address
 
But I have no idea if you NEED to be a US resident, 'cause...well..I AM a US resident. You'll have to try it.

Hehe.. well in last years Time Trial Academy demo i think i finished around 260'th place out of those 250 that got in the list.. :) I was 20'th for a short period.. I like those challenges, it would be cool to enter atleast for those DLC cars or what not..
 
Just had a couple of online races with some friends, the latest patch changes most of the multiplayer experience in good ways.

That's right. This is the first GT Academy with the full GT5 game, so where wasn't any DLC cars for the other regions. But, I believe the European GT Academy is going to starting again, soon, as well.
 
Maybe there is going to be DLC soon!

The reflections on the windscreen don't match up with the track in that picture plus how strong the reflections are too
