What is the first car you are testing on Route X? I'mma go for the Zonda R. :D

Cuda`, I really wanted a place to max it out.
Next would be an ACR then Zonda.

I think my first car to test in the test track will be the Aventador itself :)

By the way, I also got a Zonda S 7.3 as the mate in the page before by a level 15 ticket, nice!

Hell yeah! That's the one I got, the rarest from all Zondas. Cost 900k :sly:

Well, that shall be hard. I'm pretty sure youtube has a limit of 15 minute long uploads...

it might make it around in 20 minutes. maybe youtube will make an exception for an extremely exciting video.

Actually, you no longer have a 15 minute limit on Youtube.

You sure, racecar?

I think they only scrapped that for some publishers. The one change they had lately was to increase the limit from 10 to 15...but whatever...that's way off-topic, hehe

Just to make sure I get back to it, my first trials/tests will be of the F40 and the McLaren F1, the order of such is yet to be decided though

You sure, racecar?

Very sure. I got this message back in August or June:

"Congratulations, you can now upload videos that are longer then 15 minutes"

All the while, I don't even have one of those directors or special channels. Example, here's a video I did thats 21:51 Minutes long.

Well, I guess that settles it! Hahahaha.

PD has a unique talent of making scenery in hard places. Some of the city tracks in GT5 are stunning compared to other racing games I've played.
This route X is going to be great because of what we have seen the scenery rocks. Think of the improvement when you look back to the teat track in GT4.

hahahahahah I'm sure you mean TEST track ;) :sly:

Gran Turismo is just getting awesomer and awesomerererer with GT5 and downloadable content. Lovin' it!

Im gonna test the X1 2011 ot F1 cars :)
Cuz i dont want to do a lap in 20 min, so i need something a bit faster

You could upload the 2CV lap in multiple parts. I'd watch it.

I might be getting old...

I played the dream car championship with minolta. I noticed that car seem to have sort of built in traction control. I think it is turbo lag modelled into the game, or is it?

Acceleration bar car two separate bars over each other. The other one seem to pick up slower and car seem to have trouble spinning its wheels while the other one was about half way even that I had right leg straight. Turbo lag would make sense with minolta at least.

Around what time do the updates usually go online? I might just stay up past midnight EST if it happens then ^^ or go to bed early to wake up early and play :P

I'll test my 930BHP 2012 GT-R and see 0-100km/h acceleration :)

I've read on a few websites that the new DLC is coming out tomorrow (17th) rather than the 18th......:dunce:

I live in the UK so I assume the PSN store won't actually be updated until the 18th anyway since Wednesday is the day updates usually take effect?

From what I've seen in the past its normally the Tuesday night going into Wednesday morning... which is hell because I work Tuesday nights so I'm normally clock watching more than usual to get home and this Tuesday night will be one long night at work...

So I would say Wednesday morning is your best bet!

I agree, it drives much better than any other powerful MR. I think it's kind of the turbo lag modelling (the same happens to the F40 in a smaller scale), but I don't think it's very realistic.

Anyway, that's kinda off topic, let's get back to the latest news

The US will likely get it on the 17th, whilst the UK will have to wait until the 18th.

Will we be be able to have an actual drag race online in this update?[/SIZE]

I think the answer is yes. Notice in the photo with the 86GT-12 there is a concrete structure in the background with what looks like single lane width openings.

Now look at the NSX video from 2:21 to 2:23. It appears that we are inside that concrete structure with the same very narrow openings (much narrower than shown in the top speed video). You can also se a 200M line inside the structure, a 300M line right at the exit and apparently a 400M line outside the structure. If PD was designing a course for online drag racing to prevent "accidental" crashes this would fit the bill perfectly.

What photo?

So you are saying you think the single lane in the tunnel is so you can't crash into each other? This would mean unless there are multiple lanes you could only have two people racing at the same time.

This also poses a problem. How do you initiate a green light start with multiple drivers in the race? What would be needed is a open lobby like track day with a staging area to initiate the green light, and I highly doubt that is the case.

For me the million dollar question is what is above that structure and does the top of it have anything to do with the figure eight icon in the new dlc picture. Meaning a place where the cars overlap.

I was thinking the same thing... I can see the single lane tunnel he's talking about but the photo is something I'm yet to find
