Well, The XL edition did not make it to stores today. Gamestop had no clue what I was talking about! It did show up in there system but without a release date and no ability to reserve it. The best part is, is they no orders for it whatsoever!

New egg has it for 1/19/12 now

Edit: And good ol' wally world has it for tomorrow. Just wish there was an explanation.

From what I've heard, it's just by testing the Gs from acceleration. 👍

I haven't got it myself, so I can't confirm this.

I've notice that there is a half pipe(shaped like a 'C') in the middle of Route X. Maybe that is what's supposed to be the max G test track?

Or maybe a downforce track?:confused:

E: Looks like a high banked oval! (like the size of the Super speedway in GT3)

While testing this track online I noticed that there are red barriers preventing access to other roads or areas that appear to be drivable, or supposed to be drivable.
 
Can't wait to examine that track :)

Don't have the track so can't start a race.

But server code is 1472-6681-3286-8591-8407

You can easely see it from that hudge bridge :)

Track is honestly a bit of a let down. The cars were a better buy. At least they look good. THe testing center was an awesome buy. But the rest of the track I render pointless.
 
I know it's probably a light or something but at first glance I thought there was a scooter driving next to the track in that pic. :lol:
 
Did anyone find out what the green figure 8 was all about next to the start race button?
 
The green figure of eight button starts Max Speed test from the testing menu.

I think S.S.R.X is kinda awsome. I like how the acceleration figures can be shown in meters/miles and KmH/MPH. GT4 had the 400 meter dash but now in the US we have 1/4 mile times.

Doesn't the XL Edition give you a voucher for future DLC? 💡 Probably a PSN gift card, but that counts right? :p
