There's gotta be some kind of news leak somewhere of the next DLC.... (The suspense is killing me!)

I am extremely curious. I've been keeping track of the statistics of the DLC cars: How many Japanese? How many German? How many Italian?

I will predict we will see some American cars this time around. And I believe one will be from a new premium manufacturer (i.e. Chrysler, Pontiac, Cadillac).
 
I mean, the last few times they released were about the 22nd of the month... here it is the 14th and still no news? :odd: hopefully if they've delayed announcement this long it means something big is coming....

Your right. :) I hope the update is really big, and the DLC will be a killer. It'll be amazing if PD released a Porsche DLC pack. Maybe that'll give a good reason why Kaz and PD were so quite, but to quite. :(

Edit: Or even a Track Pack featuring Pikes Peak and GT4's tracks. 👍
 
I think we are going to see something about DLC and the update next week.
Remember that Journey was released yesterday and today here in Spain (i´m about to buy it right now, waiting for PSN update)
Remember that Journey is a Sony exclusive and people don´t play GT5 24/7 only. If they want to sell that game they need to give it a window so people don´t have to decide between GT5 DLC or that new Sony game. (people who has not anough money for both things i mean)
In my case y have a 50 € PSN for that game and GT5 DLC´s.

Could be that or PD is working in a 'very little huge' DLC after seeing the upcoming Forza´s Porsche DLC. Remember that PD announced for the upcoming patch the new feature that we can share our GT5 photos but we didn´t ask for that. And the DLC always comes with new updates.
They are working. Just be patience.
 
Forza's press release was last week, therefore PD didn't have the time to develop something. Their only possible retort would be they release something they had planned months ago or made for GT6. My opinion is that we are in for a major dissapointment.

in other news, f1 is finally back.

Furry Porsch..... I mean RUF dice, to hang proudly from your virtual rear-view mirror, shiny suits for lady racers, and maybe sets of action-driver Kaz photos, and virtual effigies..... for the hardcore GT fan to worship/use :drool:

I have finally cleared the "Car Collector" trophy by buying my 1,000th car- the Nissan R92CP. And for my efforts... I get a Horn. I was thinking I'd get Silver Chrome or something. Nope- just a horn. Having 1K cars is still a crazy number of cars to have in ANY game! We love cars! However, this was a ridiculous experience to get over 1,000 cars in a Gran Turismo. I think I have what... maybe 97 or 100 in Gran Turismo 4? I had to do ten times that just to get to this crazy goal of 1K cars.

But you know what? This was an experience I enjoyed. Even cars I didn't care about or have previously still were fun to collect. I don't know if I'd say "I'd do it all over again if I wanted to," though.

Yes, it is not the prize at the end but the way to get there in GT5.
