it's going to be great if it does get released, we then should be able to "reverse engineer" and calculate exactly how long "soon" is compared to "very soon" in Kaz's dictionary.

In a perfect world where Ky would only be concerned about his hardcore fan base it would be great to see him "surprise" us by announcing at E3 that the game will be out in all regions the following week.

I *hope* this is GT5 related, I think I found a pic of the demo at the 'Ring on motorsport.com:

interesting setup, hope the PS3 doesn't overheat :scared:

This video is closer to what I see in prologue in HD, looks about the same FOV wise. Doesn't seem to be any changes after all this time - disappointing :nervous:

It's really hard to read the dials in GT5:P in this car, really blurry

I skimmed back a few pages to check the 24hr Nurb live coverage (not that it's really that great) and I was listening/watching long enough for them to mention Gran Turismo 5, as a commercial I guess? "Coming soon to the Playstation 3" is all I heard in German

Just finished making these:

If the same kind of promotion happens at the 24 hours of Le Mans, you'll see more of the same from me.

Just a bit of a heads up guys, promotional box covers are usually faded out. I Photoshop, make a new layer, solid white, on top of everything else. Then set it to 50% opacity.
In the bottom right hand corner, there should be a yellow band, saying:
PROMOTIONAL COPY
NOT FOR RESALE.

The discs themselves should be predominantly white, no special disc art. I'm not sure what sony is planning to use currently, but as recently as Heavy Rain the disc was white with black and red lettering (the usual legal mumbo jumbo).

pics related (sorry, no pics of Heavy Rain disc atm)

So does 'prepare for the drive of your life' mean that we're going to get it SOON after E3?

OMG, no new video about new Nürburgring GP circuit till now?

Maybe after the 24h spectators go home.. they upload it:)
unless nobody captured a video:(

The thing is, while it may be a newer build, a new video of an environment we've seen many tmes already does not fill me with excitement. OK, it has people in tents on the side, woohoo! Give me something like Trial Mountain with a 599XX roaring through the tunnel, then I'll take notice!

I just got an email from Sony to my PSN Account email address and it is:

The survey seemed pretty boring up until this page:

There's heaps of DLC for other titles like Race Driver GRID and Need For Speed, don't read so much into things.......

I wouldn't mind paying for cars and tracks.

As long as they don't take the mickey by releasing them straight after the game comes out.

Paying for a Porsche pack when any deal is agreed for example really wouldn't bother me.

To be honest I don't think we will see GT6 on the PS3, now things have moved on with DLC I think they can keep it updated via the store. We never had that with the PS1 and PS2 so it's a little different this time round.

I can't see them doing a whole new game engine for another PS3 GT game. So why not just keep udating the GT5 game?

I'm happy to pay for new cars not available at time of release, or new tracks / versions of old tracks, but I don't want what happens with Forza where they announce the DLC before the game is even released, I mean that stuff should just be patched into the game, the company should take a break or something, then come back refreshed... not complete the game, release 75% charging you full price, and then slowly release the other 25% charging you again and again.
