even if the track editior was the same as that in V-RALLY 2, i would be happy, obvs the track will have set back drops/randomly generated bits and bobs, but if you can places parts down, change elevation etc, then there is scope to recreate tracks to some degree.

He revealed that GT5 will feature a revival of the Racing Modify menu, an option that was last featured in GT2. It won't work for all the game's cars, of course, but the staff is trying to realize it for the cars players will be expecting.

i have not played GT2 so what is that Racing Modify menu ?

Yes, but there's an embargo until 9AM GMT tomorrow on what can be said about what was revealed there.

Do you know the "LM Race cars" from GT3\GT4? It's kind of like that, on GT2 you could buy a simple car, tune it and if you felt like, you could upgrade it to look like a "LM race car" (full of sponsor stickers and some specific spec modifications, don't remember exactly).

Anyway, I am happy. Are you guys happy too?
 
i hope it wont have so bad graphics like forza 3 with all that skidmarks, weather, damage etc.. oO it would disappoint me a little!

I trust in the power of the ps3 :D

I think my head just exploded with the news about the track editor. No doubt will spend long days perfecting the perfect driving heaven with it, can't wait!!!!!!! :drool: :bowdown:
 
Graphics are looking insane. Looks like the skidmarks actually stay on the track and don't disappear after time. That's just more little icing on the cake for me. Drifting will be epic :)
 
B spec mode. How does it work. It sys the driver may feel tired etc. I assume there talking about AI.

Or does my response time from the wheel get laggy. I hope not.
Anyone know?
 
Skidmarks + serious tires smoke + wind pulling it away = epic drifting replays!

Does that embargo cover anything major? Their already seems to be plenty on info.

Must be something because Course creator and Go Karts would have been the big two and they've been mentioned by major outlets like IGN anyway as well as being viewable on the show floor.

I am pretty sure it means that we can mod normal cars to [R] (feels good typing that again) level. In other words, turn a civic into a civic touring car.
 
I read on the news that you could choose a theme and then create your track. And the Belgian High Fens are in... Spa is in the High Fens... Hmmm...

Or IGN have already broke the embargo, but didn't give enough detail to justify everyone releasing the info early.

I'll just drive myself like I always do, because I never get tired behind the wheel! :trouble:
 
I'm simply speechless :lol:. No wait: "it only does everything", no more no less.
 
About the course designer. I would assume it comes in asphalt, gravel or mud.
I hope you can mix up the surfaces. That's my point to point sorted if we can.

Actually, it's dangerous to assume.
Oh well.
 
I think that B-spec will be more like managing a race team, without driving yourself.

If I do remember correctly you where able to let an IA driver drive a endurance race for you in GT4.

if this is the case I'll be spendign 99% of my time in a-spec
 
but when will it be an interview to kaz for all the news and details?
