Thats my point that rather made those cars that are care and super cars and those with good looking cockpit than this car or prius.

Oh no! You're that troll from n4g that keeps saying forza is better just for having more cars with cockpit...

Why would PD waste a premium model on a 100hp Fiat500?

Probably because you should be able to complete the game by using only the premium cars. Everyone here knows how extensive the variety of events are in the GT franchise.

By the way, GT3, with the generational jump to PS2, had roughly 180 cars. And there were angry folks asking why they didn't include GT2 cars, even in PS1 standards. They did just that for this jump, and more, as the standard cars are PS3 standards.

Just buy the game and play it to death. Silently.

Edit : ... Or not. Don't care.

One thing i have noticed is that in the 200 premium models or at least the 153 we know about, there are no duplicates. So we probably could get like 250 premium cars if every version of the Evo's, Skyline's and Impreza's is featured as a Premium car. The R34 alone is good for about 8 versions

Doubt it, if they had 250 premiums with duplicates, they would tell us. This is PD, they like big numbers.

It wont be slow no, the little box will go flipping when you hit the apex.

That's why they have included roll overs. :)

Btw. I really look forward to see how they have animated roll overs to look fitting in the sterile looking world of Grand Turismo. Will the damage model even affect the chassis? Because, such accidents usually cause more damage than a loose bumper and open rear hatch.

20 premium versions of the same car is still the same car though.

GamesCon and Gamescom are two different things.
One is in Leipzeig, the other one in Cologne.

Doh!:scared:

This is what confused me

..amongst others. It is being held August 18th to August 22nd, 2010.

20 premium versions of the same car is still the same car though.

Not if one is a 63 the other a 70 the other a 89 and a 2010.

I dont think ALL skylines will have interiors but i cant see them calling it individual models if its the GT-R Vspec or the N1 or V-Spec NUR. Thats just an R34, one base.

So I had a thought. About this upgrade system. If you can upgrade a car to race car status. Perhaps this is why some models of the same car are premium and some are not. Example- the Aston DB9. We get one premium, one not? Maybe (just a theory) you can transform the premium one into a DBR9 LeMans style car? Just a guess. If you look at the 'stealth' cars. They are the same as Super GT or LeMans or other types of racers. Am I seeing a trend? We could possibly turn our cars into those like the stealth cars? NSX into the Super GT stealth NSX? McLaren F1 into LeMans style F1 LM? GTR into Super GT Nismo GTR?

Could be, but the DBR9 LM car is already in the game as a standalone car.

Also, if we will be able to mod it, power upgrades included, into a Giannini or Abarth race version (since race modifications are back), it won't be slow at all.

ARE THEY?!?!?!?! LINK! Please, oh please tell me this isn't coming out of your rear end.

That suggestion doesn't make sense to me. A slider is typically intended to indicate the size and position of the currently displayed page relative to the full size 'document'. If there are only 4 options, the slider should really fill the entire bar and if there were 5 or 6 themes then the slider should fill 3/4 of the bar. As the slider is half the size of the bar I would suspect 7 or 8 themes.

Typically is the right word. I've dealt with many sliders that take up half the bar, yet as soon as I move down, the bar hits bottom and nothing is there.
As someone mentioned, there are 4 terrains and in the picture you can see 2(top is one terrain with 2 surfaces(toscana tarmac and toscana dirt). So both ideas could be correct.

I didn't mean it like that. The little Fiat 500 is a beast of a car in it's own little square way. Hell kaz gave us alot of Vetts and Camaros as premiums so i can't complain.

I know alot of people look at this little Fiat as a Vette or Camaro like i look at a vette or camaro as a little Fiat, does that make any sense?...... Hell in about 10-15 years will be riding around in space ships vroom vroom

I'm aware the DBR9 is going to be in the game. That just makes it more likely in my opinion that you might be able to turn your DB9 into one. If the 'stealth' cars are anything to go by. Because you see the NSX Super GT, but it has no special livery or branding. It's just a Super GT NSX, but a stealth car. Perhaps you'll be able to do this with the certain cars that can be race upgraded/converted. I hope so. I like the bare carbon fiber look.

Just imagine turning the little 500 into an Abarth 1000.

http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2010/08/18/yamauchi_on_gt5/

[...]Japanese interviews usually end with the interviewee giving some general message to users. Not this time! Yamauchi closed off with a surprise. He revealed that GT5 will feature a revival of the Racing Modify menu, an option that was last featured in GT2. It won't work for all the game's cars, of course, but the staff is trying to realize it for the cars players will be expecting.

EXACTLY!

If you don't see the Fiat 500 as worthy of its status and you would rather see another same-as-the-next lambo stick to TDU and leave us with refined tastes to be. IF you were worthy of making such decisions maybe you would be the Founder and President of PD and creator of GT, so trust in Kaz you might learn something.

Now good day Sirs.

Oh, by the way, that looks like the old "Sopraelevata" banked oval section of Monza.
I hope PD will include that too.

That is correct. The description with this image is: "1000 Abarth alla gara '4 Ore del Jolly Club', Monza 1966".

Can this cars be upgraded to 1000hp? :dopey:

No, the 1000 stands for engine displacement 1 litre/982 cc hence the 1000.

Maximum power 92.3 PS (91 bhp) (67.9 kW) @ 7100 rpm
Maximum torque 104.0 Nm (77 ft·lb) (10.6 kgm) @ 5500 rpm
Top speed 200 km/h (124 mph)
