We already know 150+ of the 200. You can look at the list on page 198 and see for yourself what makes up the list. The other 50, we have to wait for.

Well I will cross my fingers that it will increase a bit when it is finally release. I hope they can think of DLC cockpits for the future. Are this 200 cars good cars?

Sit back, relax, and enjoy this slideshow video I made. :)

I can't see PD investing in those Standard cars anymore with all the emphasis on future-proofing and the time needed to model all those Premium cars.
It may perhaps ( not sure if it's technically or logistically possible ) be a possibility to give higher priority to modelling the new interiors of future Premium cars first and then add them to the existing Standard counterpart as DLC but maybe I'm talking nonsense here.

Seeing more variance in the AI - That Black/red Motul seems rather aggressive in personality, nudges the player and then wobbles down the track and nudges another AI car :)

I would say that's lack of AI. Which kind of intelligence would race like that in real life?

I know a few people around here that if put in a race car probably would lol

Finally, second one of eleven: Ford GT MKIV on Tokyo, not me driving.

Oh what I forgot to mention untill now is that I think the sound has been improved significantly. Although it was very loud and the TV-sound is not that great you could hear a very distinctive engine sound for every car, espacially these old ones.

Aaargh! At 1:03 I thought I was tripping!

It was entertaining though. Not looking forward to kamikaze driving taking me right to the cleaners in the game, mind you...

Jason Plato does drive a bit like he's anencephalic sometimes. As does Matt Neal. They're good together, though... :sly:

And ^^ Good work, guys! ^^

So I had a thought. About this upgrade system. If you can upgrade a car to race car status. Perhaps this is why some models of the same car are premium and some are not. Example- the Aston DB9. We get one premium, one not? Maybe (just a theory) you can transform the premium one into a DBR9 LeMans style car? Just a guess. If you look at the 'stealth' cars. They are the same as Super GT or LeMans or other types of racers. Am I seeing a trend? We could possibly turn our cars into those like the stealth cars? NSX into the Super GT stealth NSX? McLaren F1 into LeMans style F1 LM? GTR into Super GT Nismo GTR?

One thing i have noticed is that in the 200 premium models or at least the 153 we know about, there are no duplicates. So we probably could get like 250 premium cars if every version of the Evo's, Skyline's and Impreza's is featured as a Premium car. The R34 alone is good for about 8 versions

Exactly. 8 cars from one model (With a few small changes on each to make them accurate).

But then there will be the guys saying "They modelled 8 skylines, why couldn't they take the time to make 1 skyline and 7 different models"

PD can't win, even if they're right.

GT5 go kart gamescom 2010 trailer.

I found this interesting post at the Playstation Blog by Chris Miranda:

"my mouth is watering… and let me just say that car fanatics will LOVE this game, and not just kids or people who generally like cars and racing."

… or kids who are fans of creating your own course, or kart racing, or watching online-races (live), or (insert more features that we still have not announced).

Bring on TGS :sly:
That should include the official unveiling of weather rather than a fleeting mention/sighting of it in a slide among, dare I say it, others.

GTAce calls Juan Pablo Montoya:

Montoya uses agressive driving...

...it's super effective.

LMAO!

Awesome news are indeed awesome ;), but still, there's a vertical bar on the Course Creator scenery selector screen, the number might be 5 or 6 different sceneries to choose from.

Loved how the Zonda R caught up with the Mine's R34 in cockpit view, not even the Minolta 88CV will be able to keep up with it. Astonishing car.

Cool! Good news indeed. Thanks for the video, too :)

Something I've just observed - have a look at the speedometers in this picture:

Now what can you spot either side of the gear indicator - indicator arrows?

Personally, I have noticed that the top speed on the speedometer is only 160 Km/h.
Maybe this time its scale will be probably selectable?
