Will cars be able to flip over just by turning?

I don't know alot about this fiat.. but Its got a lot of character,a fun design, and is definitely more interesting than some random super car (Unlike a couple folks above thought). However, With the bouncy suspension and thin wheels, could we see this car flip over taking a corner in the game?

I doubt that. The game is coming out in less than 6 months, we're way past the soon stage. We're into the "any day now" stage.

I imagine maybe if you hit a steep curb fast enough while turning like on the Nurb you could possibly roll, but we haven't seen any roll footage yet so its hard to say right now.

Ok a few of those pics might have just convinced me to try photomode. My god. :drool:

But I kind of have one complaint about this event...

Good thing about GT5's photomode, thanks to the PS3, is the realtime feedback, which the PS2 could only dream of

One thing I have been really impressed with is the way all of the menus look. Is that weird? :lol:

The detail will be in the setting and adjusting, not the buying which is tedious spread across plenty of cars we will all have.

Just have everything on one screen, and click to buy would save a lot of unnecessary clicking and loading....
 
That was the NA setup. Of course it will have turbos, inter-coolers, superchargers, etc..

I hope for engine swaps!
 
From the latest Tuning and Photomode screen shots... everything still looks very familiar... Newer and refreshed but basically it is still the same thing as in GT4... ;) 👍


EDIT: dont think there is going to be any engine swap... too extreme for Kaz's taste...

What? He was the one to mention something about swapping Ferrari engines with different car manufacturer. .. so how is not that extreme for his taste?

Also I agree, Familiar is good, I love the whole GT vibe that goes across all games.

That was long long time ago when he mentioned it. We do not know if it will be in the game or not, back in the day he mentioned many things, sure many things did make it, but some did not, like the livery editor, or realistic looking body damage for all cars, which only race cars have.
 
Dont know if anyone can help but there was an old video on youtube with a GTP racing clip but it had a video filter that was in black and white and moving and also a sound filter. The clip looked very real and noisy but i cannot seem to find it.

Sounded like the R35 GTR from Prologue to me:crazy:
 
Looks like there are going to be less tuning options this time, several tyres are missing, iam hoping snow and gravel tyres are in another menu and there doesnt look to be any intermediate race tyres which doesnt bode well for weather.

Also engine tuning has been simplified, it looks like they have taken all the different areas engine balance etc. and just lumbered them in 3 different stages. Pretty disappointing to be honest i was really hoping for more in depth tuning features not less.
