No way would Sony and PD model a track without permission. I think some people think they have to be asked whereas it was someone else in charge.

Why not? They modeled a Lamborghini & a Porsche without their final permission in the past.

That's not tuning. Hell, you can tune a car right off the assembly line if you wanted to.
 
Well GT5 has just won, with it being a racing game, best of show and best of console at Gamescom. It really is starting to appeal to a much wider audience, and also from comments and such on news articles, it seems karting has drawn in many more fans to the series :)

im italian and now run in my country a bad news about gt5...
the city of siena after watching kart race in piazza del campo, have start a legal procedure vs sony and gt5...
could be a cause of a gt5 delay...

It's not going to result in delay since if it's not settled prior to the game's release, PD/Sony could just remove the track out of the game. It's unfortunate that some people act like this. Sounds like Ana Carli, the CEO of the Consortium for the Protection of Palio di Siena needs a good ****. Maybe then she'll be happier.

Already checked it, it says up to 15 minutes. (as standard)

I think Kaz and Co must've learned their lesson after that fiasco.
 
Can't say how happy I am to see GT5 winning those awards ,as a certain need for speed trailer was bugging me.

Yes, it looks like it is. Perhaps another Prologue will be issued to keep us entertained.
 
I have a random question, totally unrelated to anything we're talking about right now lol. In what..."situations" for lack of a better word, would the Comfort (Normal) tires be good for? I don't think I've used them once yet.

They seem to be the equivalent of N tires in previous games, or at least that's how I'm taking it (a bit confusing to call the Comfort H/M/S). If it's like past games then, N2 should provide the closest approximation of real-world characteristics.

I hope PD corrects the GT4 problem and has those tires equipped when cars are purchased, instead of the mid-grade tires. It always bothered me that I had to go to the dealer and "buy" the no-cost realistic tires that the car should've came with in the first place.

I suppose they are like the Normal tires in GT4 - they just have less grip than sports tires. Like tires you'd find in an everyday car.

Actually forza did well also snce they made all cars wth cockpit view whch PD cnnt achieve evn 6 years and it has live editor for the cars paint, decals, etc. But on the grphcs , gt is the sure winner. We might see that quality of graphcs in forza 8. Hehehe.

I am sorry but the cockpit view of Forza is no where near GT5's.After all the new information it isn't just about graphics anymore GT5 is the best racing game in every department and by some strech.Forza is a stunning game without a shadow of a doubt but GT5 wo't just raise the bar ,it will set a new one that no game will ever come close to (except GT6 :D )
