I have a random question, totally unrelated to anything we're talking about right now lol. In what..."situations" for lack of a better word, would the Comfort (Normal) tires be good for? I don't think I've used them once yet.

For drift trials and basic drifting

@Seismica

Unless you mean Photo Location... then, Race > Replay > Photo Mode (like GT4).

Or, GTP answer me this, is the damage permanent? If so, race -> crash, exit race, go to Photo Location, profit.

It would be cool if GT5 did carry on GT4 spirit regarding the state of you ride: dirty oil, a really high mileage, twisted chassis and dust accumulated everywhere, that's how we roll when trying to score some A-Spec points more, yeaaaahhhhhh :P

dirt/dust is supposed to be persistant in GT5

Or to be able to properly drive cars completely stock, tires included.
In GT4 I used Economy N tires for small cars, Comfort N tires for middle class cars, Performance N tires for road legal sports cars and lower-end supercars.

It's the first I notice that the lateral force indicator not working in "bumper" view.

You know since when you're in cockpit view the inside G-meter is there but since you're sitting on the hood, there isn't one mounted there. Maybe Kaz made the customization so extensive that we can mount g-meters, and boost meters, and low fuel level lights on the outside. How awesome?!?!?!?1:dopey:

It's already been mentioned. The TV settings are not correct and it has cropped off the bottom of the screen, hence you can't see the white bar.

At least, that's what it looks like.

You must be like me. These things rarely last as long as they're supposed to...

Yeah, coffee never does anything but make me wanna wee, red bull and the like make me sleepy.

I knew there was some kind of substance involved. :)
No no no. I just happen to have one sitting on my desk. I only take these things when I'm coming home in the late hours and my eyes have a hard time staying open. We're still 4-5hrs away from that.

Lucozade Alert is the only energy drink to do anything to me, tasted like lemony water, felt like I was having heart palpitations. So, yeah, avoid.

Yeah you're right, it should be underneath. The image is cropped also because the box on the left, with all the indicators of e-brake oil etc, touches the edges of the screen.

The way it should be! Plus you almost double your A-Spec points using N Tires. They also "break" more gradually for nice controlled powerslides.

I don't have to worry about ever finding that in Chicago so I'm safe.

saw this on GAF - note the sun positions
edit - could be just left vs right hand drive

Totally off topic but I got my arse handed to me by Daveyskills tonight.
I think he was going easy on me.
I messages him to ask if he uses a wheel.
No a controller he said.

I probably shouldn't be on about that here but your only onabout bloody lucozade anyhow.

Woha, M5! (not mine)

WOW...alba doesn't mess about does he :sly:

Yeah...same time of day. If you look down the tree line on the horizon to the left the last few trees are brighter in both shots. More the camera settings for each shot and left v right hand drive.

10. That is by far my favourite one (and my last) and I finally managed to upload it. Pagani Zonda R '09 on Nürburgring 24h version. Driven in pro physics, no driving aids, soft slick tyres. Boy oh Boy that car was a monster to drive, almost uncontrolable at high speeds.
Notice the new particle effects and the skidmarks, nice! And yes I know my driving sucked. The skidmarks between 12:05 and 12:50 are especially awesome, as much as I can tell you can leave as much of them on the raod as you want.

(Almost forgot, you can turn your speakers in the first 5 minutes a bit louder because you can hear the engine a bit.)

Oh and... you will get a glimpse of me.:O

I really don't think it's the same time of the day:dunce:

Even if it isn't, it's still a stretch to call it a day/night cycle confirmation in the Nurb. PD could just as well be playing with different times of day to determine the best one to be used in the game.

I think Kaz's "You can drive a complete 24h race, like the 24h Nurburgring race" (can't remember the exact quote, but he said something to that effect) statement to be more significant than this.

I'm assuming that's the whole point of the 24hr race with day/night transitions in GT5, to replicate that of the nurburgring, so it's safe to say PD has set up the demo for a different time of day for people like us(crazy GT5fans) to realize it :)

cuz we is code crackers. lol
