i have a question...in the definitive game will it be tyres usury and temperature?

I don't know what that means

Main Entry: usu·ry
Pronunciation: \ˈyĂĽ-zhə-rē, ˈyĂĽzh-rē\
Function: noun
Inflected Form(s): plural usu·ries
Etymology: Middle English usurie, from Anglo-French, from Medieval Latin usuria, alteration of Latin usura, from usus, past participle of uti to use
Date: 14th century

1 archaic : interest
2 : the lending of money with an interest charge for its use; especially : the lending of money at exorbitant interest rates
3 : an unconscionable or exorbitant rate or amount of interest; specifically : interest in excess of a legal rate charged to a borrower for the use of money

I guess he means tire wear and yes, it will be in the game.
According to the E3 fact sheet the smoke gets calculated through the tire temperatures by the way.

sorry!!!i found it on the dictionary, i'm italian and i'm not very goog in english!!!i mean to damage, to ruin

I would be glad in a way to see that ‘palio di Siena’ track removed. I don’t know why PD spent time detailing a real life location for a track layout so incredibly boring.

Tracks like this is all Polyphony should be including for Karts, IMO.

Well, Motorland is a track which seems perfect for karts ( or Daihatsu Midgets ).:)

:-)haha...yes i mean tyre wear, but it's officially confirmed?

It was in all previous GT-games as far as I know, so it's logical to assume it will be in.

Quick tip: never try to translate literally from Italian to English, because even if the exact counterpart exists usally is an obsolete word and often has a slight different meaning.

About the tire wear, will it be possible to have a blown tire in the game?

Joe

I can't find anything official to say that tyre wear will be in, but yes I think it's safe to assume it will be.

I don't think you will be able to get a blown tyre though, once the drive tyres are red then the car usually becomes almost completely undriveable.

Nice video 👍 I agree.

I expect it's because PD really seem to prize showiness above all else.

You'll be able to create such a track in Course Maker...won't you?

Yea, they might as well be flat. Same result.

Personally I'd rather not be able to puncture a tire especially if I had a huge amount of time already invested in a close race.

I prefer that be left to the "real thing".

I guess they could make a box of tacks available in the parts section to even things up if you had to. ;)

To be honest I don't think piazza del campo track will be missed if removed. An idea might be to modify slightly the track so it is different from the horse race one.

Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't the "Consortium for the Protection of the Palio of Siena" bitching because of the Contrada Badges(which are copyrighted) on the side of the course, not the course itself or the location.

So wouldn't they just need to remove the badges instead of the whole course\location? Is it not a public place? Therefore no rights needed to recreate it?

Firstly, tell that to the organisation of the world famous Palio di Siena the track is based on.

Secondly, the game already has a boatload of photo mode locations that serve zero purpose in the actual main component of the game, racing. Do you complain about those as well ? Bad Neuenahr ? Bern ? Lucerne ? San Gimignano ? NĂĽrburg ? Kyoto ? Kamakura ? Chiusdino ? Hangar-7 ? etc. etc.

Finally, if they bothered recreating the karting tracks that exist at nearly every big circuit, you'll have enough "twisty ones" to keep yourself busy while players with a more open mind will have some fun at this little oval as well.

Is premium spectators old news or am i on to something?

You could be, some of the spectators in the recent shot of Toscana at night at the camping grounds looked like 2D GT4 style spectators, might have been the angle, but i think we can expect the NURB 24h spectators to be barbecuing and have campers and stuff.

Exactly, its not supposed to be an amazing challenging layout, its all about the location and its history, its there to culturally educate and to reproduce a classic horse race with modern vehicles.

I don't understand what you mean?

Look at the clip i provided watch the spectators.
They are not regular spectators from what i can see but take a look by yourself and let me know what you think.

Is this a new type of spectators or just an illusion of being "premium spectators"

You can see two guys moving very fluently(?) by the tent in the background right next to the track.
