NoxNoctis Umbra GT5 on September 21st! Online Now!
We need to start the Polish GT team!

Team Polksa!

HAHA

heh masz racje stary! :) nawet w tym samym wieku ;)

I cant wait to print 3D photos, put on my glasses, and view them on the wall.

So we need to make a GTPT team ;)

After being excited about new physics, details, etc with GT5, I am not touching GT5 Prologue so once I play GT5 it will be like a new experience for me.

By the way, about 3D tvs. Nintendo 3DS developed a way with no glasses, will we see TV like that in next 10 years?

As said here is the GT polish team group HERE. Feel free to join !

Remeber guys, the guys in the video had to cancel out the other noises around them, seems the game had higher pitch then usual. But either way it sounds damn close. Once you hook up a BASE and nice surround sounds, GT5 will sound like real life

One should not need high-end audio systems to appreciate sounds.
If they are not realistic or accurate enough, no amount of post processing is going to make them so.

Anyway, after watching the video above I can say that the GT5 version doesn't feel "alive". I'm not speaking of sound quality (of which the real life Zonda video lacks much too). There's no warble/irregularity whatsoever, little real aggressiveness (not to be confused with sound oversaturation), no tone "fullness", no "organic/living" clutch (even though it's got an automated gearbox, it still has a clutch) and transmission. The real-life video unfortunately confirmed what I immediately thought after hearing that Zonda in the game.

But yes, after all it does sound similar to the real life one, as most cars (excluding american ones it seems) have in past games.
This time a bit better, but still not enough for me, though.

HDTV arent made for that , you always need a distance for the quality ,

Not true, if you have a 50inch 1080p TV you should sit about 1.8-2.0m from the television to really see the difference between 720p and 1080p.

And no it wont get blurry or hurt your eyes since it´s highdef.

I am not so convinced of that 3D!

i have played Wipeout 3D on Samsung 3D tv.. it has not impressed me!

i think in GT there will be no different!

Not enough for me, though.
If you remember the TT demo had very prominent transmission whine. So it's not totally absent from GT5.

USA is not what you see on TV, be happy where you live my friend, I have plans to move out within a year or two!

To Canada? We're like the Ikea Ball Room for Immigrants!

Sounds are NOICE as theyre gonna get through such distorted mics, For WRC cars they should have that Anti-Lag pop, which sounds just like pop corn

Still too distorted to hear mechanical sounds like brakes and gearbox\clutch. Which should also be present, as they were IMO too faint in previous GT's as were the "body rattling" sounds some race cars make at high speeds.

Are we gonna have the option to test drive the cars for free before we buy them? EDIT: One of the things about Prologue I didn't really like was that you had to pay for EVERY car just to get a chance to drive them.

I actually really like the idea of a trophy cabinet though I'm not sure PD will include it.
Would be really nice to see all the different trophies though, Morale boost :sly: lol

Yeah, yeah! If GT5 allows the user some sort of online profile, the trophies could be viewed there too. 💡

You can drive it in arcade mode like in gt4, or wait and see if ther's a test drive option in the newest game.

You mean like in every GT Mode ever since the first?

That's what Arcade mode is for!

Yamauchi demonstrates the Course Maker by selecting a Toscana theme and making it a one-way course with four sections. He does stuff like fiddle with the numbers for the frequency of curves, the sharpness of corners, and even the degree of topography

Megasveet!

In GT4 you had to own the car before it appeared in Arcade mode, except for the few that were there by default.

Just load your game. I do it all the time(GT5P). I buy a car then if I regret my purchase, I just load my game.

Sorry, have they been shown here before? I've been vacationing lately and haven't had much time for GTPlanet.

Can't be fast enough here ;)
