I bet they will do TT2 with GT5 assets. They will easily get income with very low costs.

And I think they will introduce it at TGS this year with a Q4 2011 release or Q1 2012 release. I have a sneaky feeling that Sony will have a huge TGS this year as far as buzz and shock.
 
i expect PD studio tour in Tokyo AGAIN! Pd does it every TGS,

In the picture with the Impreza sedan body, you can see two red and blue columns for A and B spec. Threr are numbers in these, 8 and 12, anyone who knows what these numbers are? It can`t be procentage, because they are nearly half-filled with color.

It might be A-spec and B-spec points and some sort of level syatem that represents them? Or, it could be something completely different! :lol:

I would guess someone at PD, as we've seen that NO interviewer can actually drive. Sure some of it's on purpose, but you can hardly tell 'cause their actual racing looks just like their "let's test the damage" laps.

EDIT:

GT5 now has a rating! YAY! If you go to Gamefly.com and check out GT5 on their page, it has an E for Everyone rating. The rating is important as it means that the release of the game in imminent and will probably not see another delay. It would also mean that a final build or something VERY close to a final build has been submitted to the ESRB for evaluation. So, November 2nd for NA seems like it's a pretty solid date now!

Doesn't make sense since a product has to be finished to receive a rating, doesn't it? People were under the impression that the game would be worked on til end of september.

In order to get an ESRB rating you have to submit a feature complete version of the game. So you can still polish it but you can't add any additional content or else you'll have to have it rated again. GT5 isn't listed on the ESRB site yet so it's probably just GameFly just giving it the rating that they know it'll get (E).

Just like when we had ratings for it back in Februaru from the EU ratings board.
Seems like Super is just getting his hopes up again for nothing.

As far as I remember the tyrechoice on rallystages in GT4 didn`t make much of a difference, the car sled around anyway. But this video of rallying in GT5 is much more promisisng, the car seemes more attached to the road than before, good, because rallying has always been the downside og GT

What tire choice? It's was just Dirt Tires and Snow Tires.

Typo. Hanger 7 = HangAr 7.

My hope right now is that there will be no more news or anything about GT5 until release-day, then we would get all the news in our own home the first time we play it, the biggest moment in gaming-history ever. I know it won`t be so, but I really hope it would:)

As much as I'm looking forward to GT5's launch, I think PS2 and PS3 console launches were bigger and I looked forward to them more then I'm looking towards GT5's launch. GT5 has bee in development for so long that alot of the hype has died to me...they can show a video tomorrow of a Porsche racing in the rain at night at Spa with 16 cars online crashing and flipping over a barrier and landing upside down on fire and I would get excited for about 2 hours then I'd be over it.

For example imagine if they announced the Playstation 4 today and showed some of what it was capable of but didn't release it for 3-4 more years. It would be very hard to stay super hyped for it for that long.

Well it's a little off topic here (latest news) but for me, it's new ;)
This afternoon, i walk down the Champs Elysees avenue in Paris France (I live not so far).
There's many fancy car maker's showrooms around.
I stumble on the FT-86 concept in flesh and tires at the Toyota showroom (Le rendez-vous Toyota)



A very nice hot hatch in real life!







Behind the FT-86 there's a GT5 demo pod!



I never heard about a special demo intended for Toyota only...
But here it is.
Obviously, it's an old built (maybe TGS 2009?). No damages, no skidmarks. It's Tokyo route 246, 2 minutes time limit, 2 laps and 8 cars on it. FT-86's only.



But as the place is not too crowded (unlike gameshows...) you can drive a lot ;)
So, if you are near this place and if you can't wait for november, you can go for a spin!

The place worth a look itself and there is some interesting concepts models made by French design students for a Toyota concours.

You know... I've always wondered what do you think happens to all of those pods that are made. Do you think PD people get to keep them for themselves and the Sony Execs? I mean they don't re use the pods over and over do they. This one looks a lot different then the pods they had at E3 and GC.

That actually was a bit grippy.. However Ive seen gamescom biuld Toscana races before, and they were normal.
Lets just hope this isn't another edited video!

And it`s the wrong wheel, yes I know it`s the official GT wheel, but it`s rubbish compared to G25 /G27
 
Hey not everyone can afford a G25/G27 wheel. I certainly cant and got me a DFGT today.
 
Watch for updates during or immediately after the Spa-Francorchamps Formula 1 Gran Prix. If Spa is in GT5 and news about it are to be reveled, this should be the right time for that. It would also happen to be about half way between Gamescom and Tokyo Game Show.

Why would news about GT5 come out just because F1 is racing on a track that is rumoured to be in the game?

About the latest Jaguar XJ13 video. Someone already mentioned this, and it kind of surprised me. At the long (uphill!!!) straight of the Nordschleife he's doing 310+km/hr.
Doing some research on the internet, it states that it can only max 287 km/hr. Personally I think it's very weird that this is simulated incorrectly. I was really hoping that in-game laptimes correspond to those in real life. When you drive a perfect lap with you Nissan GT-R in GT5, it should be in around 7min and 30 sec.
I know the physics are not 100% correct. Maybe on our playstation 6 with Gran Turismo 8 it will be much closer. But come on! Getting the top speed right, that should not be a problem....

PS. The interior looks spectacular by the way.

Could be, remember the Nürburgring and Le Mans 24hour events? Biggest Spa event is probably the F1 race.

- Because the game is about to get released and many people would like to see that track in the game
- Would clarify for once and for all the Spa inclusion rumor
- If Spa gets included revealing info about it during or immediately after its F1 Gran Prix, would have much more impact than "silently" revealing it at the TGS
- Ultimately, Sony needs to regain attention and to build up hype about GT5 as much as possible and that is mainly accomplished by revealing relatively frequently small chunks of information

Again, I'm not saying that there will be new info about it, just that in my opinion, there's chance for it.
