This is what happens when you wait for a game for 5 years, expectations shoot through the roof.

Sure im a little disappointed, but what we have left is a technological marvel, dynamic weather, premiums, night+day. Try and see the silver lining here :)

I fail to see your point... yes they are from GT4. Yes Ferraris are premium. Why should I cry about that?

Because most people love GT for what it is, a race game with normal cars. And not some sort of supercar challange, if you ask me adding ferrari, lambo and other supercars was the biggest mistake PD ever made.

Yes thats true what you saying, but if your particular favorite car/cars are standard, its really hard to live with no wheel change and no interior, and then beeing not as good as the premiums, thats the really issue here. Its even worse if the standard cars cant get bodykits, lite some premium ones can.

Yeah, I strongly agree there, while people are like "this isn't need for speed underground" I understand that, but I also feel the same way you do on the subject, I'm not asking for bodykits on all cars, I just feel all cars should be able to change their wheels, example even tho we have a miata as premium, I'm going to use a standard miata for an example, he's trying to make "the real driving simulator" well... the standard 14 inch tire size is not the most ideal for "track use" I'd be putting some 15-16" on there with lighter weight wheels, So I'm with you on that, I think that part was done very badly, they may or may not have a DLC for the "Standard" cars

I think the way how marketing works, they'll either milk playstation + for all its worth to get GT5 finished, like "premium model of your car for x amount of $" or a DLC package for standard rims, I can hope anyways :) You never know, kaz mentioned a while ago that DLC was going to happen in someway shape or form, not sure where they're taking that.

I don't know if there is going to be any DLC, but if there is I highly doubt it would be free.

Yamauchi is pretty opposed to DLC, and as far as I know we won't be getting any as all new content will surely be going into GT6 rather than GT5.

The only realistic hope is that this isn't the full track/car list. That is more likely then getting any amount of DLC, which will probably just be the stealth cars after a couple of months.

It does seem slightly odd that some of the iconic tracks like Midfield, Apricot hill etc aren't in the game.

In the video of the special stage area of the game, we can see that there is a special event in top gear track... and it can't be DLC, so I'm sure this isn't the final list...

Hmm the F40 was incorrectly a standard, although this would explain why bugatti the company were not in the dealer ship.

At the moment anyway this game does seem to be just that though, who knows Forza 4 might just be even more amazing, If it is i'll buy a xbox.

No actually, we on forza forums are very open minded and more and well discuss the faultis of the game. Something that the gt fanboys wont do, thay cant accept that this game is a bit of a shame and joke for PD. In some years PD will really get som serious competitors, even forza 4 might be killing gt5, who knows.....

Delivered on 10 DVD's then? Or how would they fit the content with the same detail/quality? :D

I totally agree, but its hard to not be disappointed when you've played other racing games that have been out for ages and got more up to date modern cars in. It becomes the standard. I've played Forza 3 to death and I guess I expected some of the things from Forza 3 to be in GT5.

But I totally understand that Turn 10 are American and PD are Japanese. Sometimes you just need to appeal to different market other than your own.

oh go on.... please don't be so close minded. There is plenty of disccusion on what gt5 faults are. we hear it everyday. You have just come on here to stir it up. please don't. its not worth it. 👍
