Many parts of it certainly looks like it has the PD touch, considering their relationship I wouldn't be the slightest surprised if PD assisted in some of the video. Other parts of the video are very different from what PD does and isn't as good.

Some parts are good, some are not? Seems like PD.

It goes through a whopping great tunnel that's PD.

I thought so too. What didn't look like GT were the sounds. I've never heard anything GT related have music and sounds like that.

If you know how PD's sound department works then spill the beans right now!!!

Well, it is a Nissan video. And there was no mention of PD, Sony, Gran Turismo that I noticed, so it doesn't have to live up to Sony / PD's marketing style, only Nissan's.

I wonder if Kaz is doing his film director thing, since that's what he wanted to be. :p

haha I'm sure he'd tweet about that.

Look at that, please!
Nismo Leaf RC in GT5. May be)
This video is as if done in Gran Turismo 5! Really! 00:11, 00:14...on 00:22!
Sorry for my English :)

Obviously C-Spec Free Roam and Nissan Leaf RC are confirmed for the May update.:sly::lol:

Seriously though, very nice video and definitely has a PD produced video feel to it. Any info on who made it?

Thing is though, usually Sony and PD are mentioned right at the end of the trailer(sometims at the beginning with "Sony Computer Entertainment Presents"). All the trailers for the Toyota 86, the Ferrari 458 Trailer, the Acura/Honda NSX Trailer and even the California video from years ago. All of them had PD and Sony Mentioned usually towards the end of the video and unlike all of those, this Nissan Leaf video has none of it.

Something makes me believe that this seems GT5ish. It just has that feeling to it. Along with the track, it looks like a freeroam area. A beautiful one too. *.* I don't know it just feels like GT5 or GT6, but more like GT5. Oh man I feel bad right now. :guilty: Please let this be true. :nervous: I feel awful.

Edit: At the end it feels like that's how GT6 will look like. :) At 1:10.

I just found that this is a year old video. Also not seeing any better graphics then GT5 at it's current state.

Nope, it definitely is GT5, as SSRX is there. ;)

I see where it may look like SSRX, but it isn't. SSRX does not have trees, the banked corner has yellow stipes and is a bright tan-ish colour, in the tunnel the pits area should be visible on the right side, which it is not and it is also much to long.

Riiiiiiidge Raceeeeeeer!!! Love that game, so cool. :) In the video. It looks like a freeroam area though. :D Was that the same place the Toyota 86 GT '12 was in, but in a different part of that area?

No, the 86 was actually shown on GT5 tracks and photomode locations.

Not true, there's at least one environment in the 86 videos that we're yet to see in-game; alpine mountains, and possibly some other mountains; then there are the docks (SSRX?), and the other few locations from other videos, too.

Yes, which is why I suggested it might only be influenced by GT. I meant really that even if PD (or one or a group of their employees acting independently) had produced it, it might still have been subject more to Nissan's requirements, including a lack of Sony / PD branding. Tenuous, maybe, but the similarities are uncanny (deliberate?)

It must have been discussed before, I can't believe that we're only just picking this up!

He was reffering to the GT86 video, not the FT-86 Video from 2009:

So in other words, same staff and style but not under the roofs of PD or Sony? Also, I don't think anyone has mentioned this at all last year, Everyone was too busy complaining about the Credit cap, the disabling of trading cars over 1,000,000 credits, the bitching and moaning of everyone getting X1s and the Spec 2.0 update along with the first DLC.

Same difference :sly: My mistake.

Thinking more about my irrelevant point, there have been unknown locations in trailers / promos before, but I suppose that doesn't mean too much here.

Honestly, I'm amazed! Considering not a drop of information went unnoticed in the dry spells; like now, I suppose.

I was just thinking that maybe PD are contracting themselves out to do video work, Square Enix style. Or maybe not, given Squenix tend to lavish their logs all over everything. So very perplexing.

There has been a discussion about it, but we soon came to the same conclusions as we have now, and it was ignored afterwards.

This was covered before, I remember it. Anyway even if if was made by PD it doesn't really mean much since again it was a year ago.

It would not be the first time.

I still remember the legendary GT-R renders, never was officially said that PD made them, but it is 99,9% made by PD.

I just spent 20 minutes browsing for them :)

Like this place? It was shown in the video of the Toyota FT-86 Concept. :)

Darn. The LEAF RS's area seems different. :( Who knows they may have it maybe?

That track seems new but also it seems that it is under construction. See the mountains...super flat textures.
I can´t remember the name but that part in particular makes me remember one old track from GT (not sure which one) but also it could be a road curse on any mountain from Europe too. Great addition of course if they give us new tracks no matter which ones.

It could be either Gornergratbahn or Grindelwald. To me it looks like Grindelwald had that right turn going up, but missing the houses. Or Gornergratbahn, showing a tunnel. I wonder. You're right though, it look like it was construction. We may see it through either the last DLC, or better yet, save it for GT6. It'll be better in that one. :)
