Or it could be a DTM race with the Sonax 190E Evo, the Alfa Romeo 155 V6 (which has a giant, white Alfa logo on the bonnet) and the Calibra DTM.

On the Gran Turismo PSP intro video in the 1:21 I notice this car any suggestions?

The image have a bad quality is that a volvo, mercedes-benz, etc ???

See, I think its the Mercedes 190E DTM, Alfa Romeo 155 V6 and the Opel Astra Coupe DTM... all of which are in GT4.
 
The red one may be Alfa, but the white car is too blurry to say, is it Astra or Calibra?!

In my opinion its the Opel/Vauxhall Calibra Super Touring Car, because the others DTM cars are from "old school" also.

Same reason I suggested they were an Quattro and an M3 Evo, but the Opel cars would make a lot of sense too, I'd be a little disappointed if a lot of races are made up the same car with different liveries.

Not convinced it's an Alfa - surely it would be a white logo on a red bonnet - that image looks almost certain to be a white bonnet with the logo's on top of that.

Anyway - I'm sure we should be speculating what cars are in GT5 based on whats in a different game, albeit another GT game.

I'm wondering if there'll be any news of motorbikes at TGS - not much has been seen of them since the original GT HD teasers.
 
No, I think they will announce Tourist Trophy 2 when it comes to bikes.
 
It could be possible that they added a bike or two to GT5. might get some more sales of Tourist Trophy and a bigger community for Tourist Trophy 2.

It was the full IOM TT course that sprung to mind for me also, I bet Kaz will be itching to include it if bikes are confirmed or a TT2 announced.

It may be that bikes are added as an Easter egg - similar to how the ancient historical cars appeared in GT4 - they're in their for fun and not for racing purposes - lets face it - that Daimler thingy wasn't capable of even doing a lap of nordschleife...

If you never saw the full car list of GT4 your mind would of exploded when you saw a rare car in the used car lots that wasn't in the manufacturer showrooms.

The "black special race cars" in the used lot where also in showrooms but with a different paintjob!

Thats why i like gran turismo its like real life. When you look at second hand cars on a site like tradecarview you won't see just 1 of every skyline ever made, no you wil see N1's, Vspec's, sedan's and more.

So i'm realy happy we are getting 1000 cars.

I also saw the '01 R8 Race Car in GTPSP Intro (maybe I'm wrong), but as much as I know is that the '01 R8 and the '05 R8 aren't the same cars because of different regulations. If I see that right in 2005 the R8 was handicapped with 30PS less, more weight and less fuel volume. So it would make really sense to sort both of them if both are included.

Yes, I've seen 2001 Infineon Audi R8 on one of GTPSP screens too. It's a different car, and I've added it to my own Master Car List I've made on another Russian gamers site.

Also, there must be:
Amuse Carbon R
Audi Le Mans Quattro
Cadillac CIEN Concept
Ford RS200
Nissan 240RS Rally Car
Sauber C9
TVR Cerbera Speed 12... and a few more...
 
All GT4 can be in GTM and a few more will be added, but not all of those are confirmed to be in GT5.

Yes that was promised (I think) but no one saw any more mention to it , but that would be an excellent surprise :)

I turned a cheek when they were put into PGR4, and I'm pretty sure I'll do the same if they make it into GT5. If I'm mixing something up, forgive me.

Shouldn't the Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary be added to the list? I doubt PD made that car just for the PSP. ;)
 
No, it should be added to the list when it's confirmed either by screenshot or mention not because we presume it will be.
