There is no Murcielago seen yet fellas. If you think it's the green Lambo chasing that Red Countach in the PSP intro, then it's not it was just another Countach following a Countach.

I thought that Alba saw a Murcielago on the PSP version???:scared:

These guys are saying the GT2 C6.R racecar is in, though I kinda doubt it because I haven't heard about that on here... link

Forza Motorsports 3 released more game images and, of course, ZR1 is in among the cars.
Looking awesome as ever.

Which means, between the 4MM+ F3 sales and the 10-14MM Gran Turismo sales, more drivers / carboys / and potential new GM consumers will drive virtual Corvettes than whatever the real dealers could ever offer as real-world test drives....

But, that's how you build a brand today, for the future, and how you keep it / make it younger.

PS- The GT2 C6R race car is IN the Gran Turismo5 game!
Anyone know about Forza3? ....because that Rahal BMW at the end of the XBox / F3 promo vid needs its sim-smackdown!

Anyone know more?

Those guys seem to know a bit about whats going on with KY and vettes, they reported not long ago that KY was taking a ZR1 to Pebble beach concours d'elegance (due to the ZR1 being PSP cover car, havent seen proof of his attendance to the concours yet though.)

I hope they're right.

Edit

It seems a Gran Turismo award was given out at the 2009 Pebble beach Concours

2009 Awards and Trophies

"Gran Turnismo
1965 Alfa Romeo TZ2 Zagato Competition Berlinetta
The William Lyon Family, Newport Beach, California"

http://www.pebblebeachconcours.net/pages/4108/2009_Concours_Winners.htm

A car that looks like KY's taste but not 100% sure this award is related to GT (by PD) or not but KY did make a Gran Turismo award last year (to a Lamborghini Muira)

I sent @SonyPlayStation a Tweet about these cars when I saw them debut on @Speed's coverage of ALMS. I certainly hope they will be in the game.

Sorry to ruin it for everyone..
Peugeot 908 - http://www.racingsportscars.com/photo/2009/Le_Mans-2009-06-14-017.jpg
Pescarolo 01 - http://www.racingsportscars.com/photo/2004/Le_Mans-2004-06-13-018.jpg

The car in the vid has a lightly coloured rear wing - the 908's was black, the existing C60was white
The car is darkly coloured along the sides, getting lighter towards the front, with white writing, like the 'Playstation.net' on the C60, whereas the 908 was a lighter shade of blue with no writing
And I think, at the front of the dark patch in the centre of the car, you can make out the different colour of the drivers helmet..
I hope the cars included, but i dont think this is it..

that a '09 908 Pescarolo of course!

in real:

i think the colour of rear wing was wrong because there are a sun reflection on.

same car!

It's got the same dark blue in the middle like the GT4 Pescarolo, not white like the 908.

Sadly, I'm pretty sure it's the Pescarolo C60 '04 that as in GT4.
There's the same blue color on the top of the car.
Of course we need a better quality screenshot to confirm this but I think it's not the 908 :(

On the Gran Turismo PSP intro video in the 1:21 I notice this car any suggestions?

The image have a bad quality is that a volvo, mercedes-benz, etc ???

semttulojcq.jpg

After comparing the blurry screen grab to the 2 pics of the Pescarolo 04 & 09 I'm convinced it's the 09 model.

If you look for major differences in the colour schemes of the 2 photo's it's easier to determine which is in the screen grab - notice the side of car behind the front wheel arch..

- on the 04 car it's light blue / brake vent / dark blue
- on the 09 car it's light blue / brake vent / light blue

Now look at the screengrab again - there seems to be no difference in colour scheme along the length of that part of the car.

Mercedes 190 Evo 2 DTM

This is the one in GT4 with the "SONAX"

-Ultraflow- is probably right with the other paint scheme theory

like this one

or this one

And what is the red one behind?
Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 V6 TI '93 maybe?

Bit difficult to tell but if I was to take a guess I'd say it was an Audi Quattro and the white one behind that a BMW M3 Evo.

It's not red enough to be an Alfa - it has a white bonnet by the look of it. Be suprised if the 155 wasn't in the game though.

3 german marques on the nurburgring would make a lot of sense.

I think some of you have some very high expectations about this GT PSP intro...
Personnaly, I see a Pescarolo C60 Judd and a 155 V6 TI when you see a 908 HDi and an Audi Quattro. :p
And the 190E DTM is exactly the same as the one in GT4.

Sorry to bring those bad news to you but we should be realistic here. GT PSP cars are mostly from GT4, except for a few of them (R8 LMS, GT-R V-Spec, Lambo, Bugatti, Citroën GT and Corvette ZR-1). For now ;)

Is it possible that, due to different graphics, the cars appear lighter due to reflections from the sky?

That 190E is exactly the same as in GT4, you can also see it in another scene in the video.
