If that Audi R8 LMS is the cover car for GT5 I would find it terribly ironic considering Forza 3's cover. Think about it... Audi R8 V10 FSI... vs Audi R8 LMS. 1 upmanishp? Just kiddin :sly:

I'm entering the R8s as two separate entries. Remember that they count each different JGTC/Super GT livery as a separate car, so it's more than possible they could be doing the same here with the R8 LMS.

Does anyone have a feeling that there will be waaaay too many ''old'' cars (already seen in GT4) in the GT5?

I know what you mean - it's all going to seem rather familiar, but I can understand the situation. They already have all those cars in the bag, so why not include them?

I think we're going to see alot of new cars still though, in fact many cars might even be updated versions of what we already have. For example, I would imagine a car like the Aston Martin DB9 would easily spawn the DBS because they look very similar, i.e. lights etc

Add:
Corvette Z06 Race Car (C2-gen, '63)
Corvette Stingray L46 350 (C3-gen, '69)

Dodge RAM 1500 LARAMIE Hemi (Quad Cab, '04)
Fiat Barchetta Giovane Due ('00)
Fiat Coupe Turbo Plus ('00)
HKS Genki Hyper Silvia RS2 (D1GP '04)
Spoon S2000 Race Car ('00)
Impreza Sedan WRX STi (GC gen)

Where have all these come from? Do you have links for them to show they will be in GT5?

Well considering that there have only been 5 years since GT4 there will mostly be cars that have been in GT4. Which is fine since GT4 covered a good chunk of automotive history.

Indeed, there are many cars that I'm hoping will make a comeback; I can't wait to drive some of my old favorites with HD graphics and a cockpit view! :D

Besides, we already have a good number of new cars (that weren't in GT4) in Prologue, so I wouldn't get too worried about the full game. ;)

That would be great as long as the car doesn't suck like it does in GT5P and GT4.

No kidding, 1710 kg according to Prologue. :scared: Where the hell does all that weight come from!? :boggled:
I'll give you a clue, it's the same reason a Mercedes SL600 touches the two tonne mark. It's not a stripped out sportscar, it's a luxury car.

What is the point of your post exactley? That the SL600 is more powerfull, well done I guess that's 1-0 to you though the DB9 is likely the quicker car on a track. But regardless, please tell me, where does power or performance, or looks, whatever you point being, come into what I just posted?

In my opinion the DB9 is a much more desireable car. Power is nothing without control, something I feel AMG don't work on enough where the more premium road cars are concerned. Though I'm sure some will dissagree.

All the Aston range will be heavy, as said above, luxury cars aren't light. Find me a Bentley under 2 tonnes.

LOL I know right it looks terrible..:yuck: it was a coach at some car show in los angeles.

Sorry if I'm a bit behind...

0:13-0:15, far right car. Xsara?
