It may be a Cobra, or an old english car.
But most likely a Cobra.

The AC Cobra is an old English car. Unless you're thinking of Shelby, in which case it still matters because the Cobra is very similar to the 427 S/C in GT4 (top speed is somewhat different, though, but they have the same models).

Still no way to determine if the car being modeled is an Shelby Cobra or an AC 289. The whole Cobra naming business is a bit of a quagmire and there's no way to really visually tell what is what, so I think we're going to have to wait to hear a name from PD.

I just wanted you guys to be aware of a mystery car that PD obviously wants to be hidden.

At 00:52, look at the screen. It is obviously the 'Ring but what is he driving? Why is it blurred? The blue telemetry makes me think of Lexus' F line. Possibly the first shot of the LF-A's actual interior? Maybe even (judging by the high degree of visibility from the cockpit) an actual 911?

Who knows. But I wanted you to be aware.

It's definitely not a 911, the dials and what interior trim we can see don't match up... how many cars out there have blue needles though?

Can you get a screen shot? My internet isn't fast enough to load videos right now.

Here are the screenshots.

In the first one the screen is blurred, in the second one (a second later, I guess is the same car) part of the board can be seen.

From what we can see on screen, it's not a road AC 289 or 427 - neither had a bonnet scoop, i don't think the Shelby versions did either, not as standard anyhow. You can't see enough of the arches either to distinguish between 289 or 427. The models in the bottom right of the screen however look to be wide arched, cut down doored 427's. It's only the badging that distinguishes Shelby's from AC's visually.

The shapes around the headlights and how the screen meets the bodywork, and how it folds into the interior are wrong for a Healey 100/6 or 3000.

I think it's the Lexus IS-F. Look at the F logo behind the wheel, just left of KY's head.

The dials and airvents are spot-on for an IS-F 👍

During the video someone actually says in English "This is set up right now for the IS-F, that he's driving, which Kaz recent drove in the Nurburgring..."

This is in reference to the IS-F race car that Kaz was part of a driving team for in the VLN series. However I'm fairly certain based on the screen shots that it's still the street car and not the race car he's driving in the game.

👍 The interior does look like a standard street car's. Even though the class he raced in was pretty much showroom standard, it still would have ment roll cage, windscreen banner and other stuff that would, even in the poor shots we've seen, still be visible. The clincher is the fact that the car he raced was LHD where as this one is obviously RHD.

Anybody got a clue what this car could be?

either a 1967-1971 AC cobra or shelby cobra. *Note* the Double hood latch design.

better view on unique Double latch design on a coupe/t top version

427-shelby-cobra.jpg

But ide say it's a shelby, since it was already in GT4. And better it be a shelby then the AC. in imo

But look at the model down right...

The perspective of that last monitor doesn't help.
I have plenty of photos of 427 Cobras that I saw earlier this month.

Being a kit car. some will have different bonnets.
I guess only time will tell.

GT4 had the Cobra under Shelby and AC, I believe the major differences between the two was the color options.

For now though it's impossible to tell which version this is, so I'm leaving it off.

The Shelby Cobra and the AC Cobra are not nor will they ever be, kit cars. However, kit cars have been based on them.

He was talking about the pictures he took, not the genuine cars.
