GT5 Master Car List

Hello,
I don't see the point in removing the standard XJR-9 LM Race Car '88 since both P and S version are counted as a different car by the game.

I agree! The standard is in the game, thus it should be represented.

Exactly. Did we remove duplicate GTR's, Vipers, Corvettes, Camaro's, Evo's, or any other cars that are both S & P?

Actually, we did :P
Check out the list, there are no cars that are both Premium and Standard. I left only the Premium ones.

But, since a lot of you are asking for it, I'll add the Standards back ;)
 
I've been verifying the car counts and I keep getting a slightly different result. Can someone please confirm? Differences are emphasised.

TOTAL :
1048 cars + 15 Special + 25 [DLC] = 1088 cars + 2 pending
- 280 Premium (including 2 pending)
- 810 Standard

The ZR-1 is listed as Premium and Standard because you can transfer it from GT PSP as a standard cars. There are several cars that are available as P & S (Enzo, GT-R, Spec-V and now the XJR-9)

And thanks for the car count by the way! I'll try to recount everything as well and see if we get the same results ;)

I'm aware the list previously included cars available as both premium and standard, but why is the ZR-1 the only car still listed as premium and standard? I'm guessing you forgot to remove it?

You forgot the two GT-R from the Blitz tuner.
And I believe there was a mistake as I count only 66 GT-R now.
But I'm still working on the car count and with the cars that are both Premium and Standard, I think this will change a little.

OK people !
I am proud to say that the car count is now 100% correct.
And it's the first time that I am in agreement with the official car count from Sony/PD so yay :D
All stats have been remade and checked.
It took me all morning but it's finally done and the community now has a 100% correct car list.

Sorry for double posting.
 
It might be an idea to add the 2011 and 2012 tas winners to the GT6 list, as it has been said they will be in as they won the 'gt award'. I would write the names out in full my my mobile is not letting me copy and paste them! There is a thread about them running at the moment titled along the lines of 'Tokyo auto salon 2012'
 
How do I get the "stealth" and "chrome" versions of the premium cars + Camaro SS 10 Edge Special, the 370 Tuned Car and the Toyota Camry #20 Joey Logano Nascar Gamestop '10 ?
There are 2 cars marked as pending, the Scion FR-S 11 and Acura NSX Concept 12, missing those too.

Edit : Searching through most of the pages here and I found my answers... still looking for that elusive 370 Tuned Car....

Allow me to explain (unless someone else already did while I'm typing this):

- Stealth: Can only be acquired with the Signature Edition of Gran Turismo 5.
- Chrome: Can only be acquired with Collectors Edition and Signature Edition of Gran Turismo 5.
- Nissan 370 Tuned can be acquired with a level 12 ticket or ask for it in the marketplace.
- Camaro SS Edge Special: promo code found in a shaving produt "Edge" in 2010, U.S. only.
- Toyota Camry: Promo code when Gran Turismo 5 was bought in a GameStop sotre in 2010.
- The Scion (Toyota for the rest of the world) is free with the 2.00 update.
- Acura NSX Concept 12: I believe this car doesn't officially exists in GT5 yet.

I'm not new here, rounded both GT4 and GT5 complete with gold and all cars in my garage, except those mentioned for GT5. I had all cars in GT4, and all tuned. I did never do any "grinding" etc either, pure racing.. AND think I have close to 4000 laps on Nürburgring Nordschleife and 170 laps for real in my tuned 200SX and other cars :-)
 
Hi guys.
I added the Leaf and Fairlady Z GT Academy seen in screenshots form the front page.
They aren't 100% confirmed to be in the actual game following GT Academy 2012 though.
 
im curious about the GT-R Black Edition Tuned Car (GT Academy) '12 & the 370Z Tuned Car (GT Academy) '08. could this be the 2 remaining cars for round 7 & 8 of gt academy 2012? 1 of those 370z's has the year 2012 written on the gt livery, so it couldn't be the 1 we already have as that has PS3 written on the gt livery.
 
Yep, we've seen screenshots of a 370Z Tuned Car and GT-R Black Edition Tuned Car (at Motegi).
Both have 2012 on their stickers so it is likely that these two are the cars for Round 7 & 8 of the GT Academy ;)
