^ Luckily, I managed to do so after countless tries:D I think my controller barely survived how hard I was holding it at times:nervous:

'shopped. You can tell by the pixels.

Anyone can hold a controller in front of the screen; what he's NOT showing is that he has Mark Webber sitting at his Thrustmaster wheel.

Cheers mate; better than I can manage!

Hate hate hate hate HATE each and every licence, the damn NASCAR special and that Top Gear Lotus deathtrap thingy...also B-Spec Historic, and also just a little hate goes to everyone who insists it's easy...
Also major hating for my B-Spec Boobs...I seem to have acquired the entire driving team from Tokyo Drift, judging by the abundance of sideways in every single race.
Oh, and lets not forget the ONLINE PHYSICS ARE BROKEN CAPS LOCK RAWWWWWWRRRRRRR that destroys this game for me. If I can easily beat 7:15 on the Nordschleife in my Class D Mazda Roadster offline, but struggle to get under 7:35 online because I suddenly have half the grip and a car that somehow feels 500kg heavier in the rear? This isn't acceptable...if every other driving game can manage to have consistent physics, why can't the best of them all? Who cares if we flip cars online? Is that too much fun, so we have to make do with oversteering into walls in a stock Sambabus on Racing Softs?

When the screen decided to troll me and freeze on THE 169TH LAP of the Suzuka 1000 KM B-Spec.

It was just like my girl cousins, and not wait til later to start creating problems.

The Air of Experience.
I have completed B-spec (got Gold Standard) with my main B-spec driver (who took part in every B-spec race) at 207 races. Considering you need 500 races for this ridiculous trophy - I had to do Sunday Cup Tsukuba almost 300 times, 50 per day!
As soon as I got the trophy - I deleted all B-spec drivers I had.

Good day.

Nascar A-Spec. The AI manages to PIT me into a wall and send me flying at Daytona. Hint: I lost by 5 points. RAGEQUIT.

I've been avoiding the FGT championship like plague for ages now. I already know it's gonna kill me (and the pad, and possibly the whole console). It's the only thing besides endurance races that I haven't completed in A-Spec.

Top Gear events
Nascar Daytona events
Lambo event in the Grand Tour
PD removing standing starts

All sources of extreme hatred aimed firmly at the game and PD. Stupid contrived difficulty, with very little basis in reality.

OT -> Um, theres the EMO Thread already, why create a new one?...

Because that thread is actualy a piss take of those who have something to complain about with GT5. It's a thread for the GT5 lovers to have a quiet snidey, sneaky laugh at other peoples expense. I find that REALLY pitiful if I'm honest.

I continued sending my Bob to Like the Wind at Daytona in the X2010. Come back every 11minutes and do 6 race in 1hr~
Great Financial gains, and since it was a 10min break between each, didn't feel like a chore.

The worst B-Spec experience apart from a few challenging races, was waking up every 4 hours to restart the Nurburgring 4hr endurance, to reach lv.39

- Top Gear does take several tries, but the thing is I never managed to complete a full race before having to restart.
In the end it was easier that I thought, but to this day I still don't drive any Lotus, it just brings horrible wheelspin memories.

- Worst part about Nascar Specials is the looong wait before starting a race and actually driving.

300:6=50
I didn't have 2 months to spend getting a bronze trophy.

Power went out on lap 196 of the indy race. Tried again a week later; power went out on lap 194. I was driving a detuned R10 too so I was forced to try pretty hard. No rubber band crap. Finally finished it a few weeks ago.

PS: I dont live in Uganda, we just have storms every night.

You need something called SAI.

Mine went out 16 hours into my second run at the 24 hours of Lemans.

I don't lose it often, but it is a reality everywhere at times.

PD, you idiots!

That was the last straw on this game for me, I haven't played it since.

God yeah, the Elise is a car widely reknowned for good handling, but that race is a mare. The Camper Van race was appalling too....in fact I'd rather have my eyes removed with hot spoons than do that race EVER again.

I actually don't mind the NASCARS.....it's just Daytona, utterly utterly crap.

I have to add this...nothing enrages me more than some of the utterly selfish @$%^&£$£ on this site.

There's a very apt line in "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)" that sometimes springs to my mind.

I was 13 hours in until my mum turned of my PS3 :yuck:. Don't worry, I didn't push her down the stairs and it was more of a depressing moment then an anger moment. Added insult was the next few days everything was perfect without a single powercut and the days were free so I could of got it done in 2 days :indiff:. Ah well!

You obviously didn't read the other threads that points out that GT5 online physics actually are more detailed than the A Spec physics. I process fuel as well as tire temps and tire degradation, nothing broken about it. If anything is broken it's A Spec being made too easy for the masses who buy the game to actually win. If A Spec had full physics along with stringent power and weight regulations, only the very astute would progress everyone else wouldn't make it very far.

I dislike the X2010 challenge as it's utterly ridiculous how fast that car is and the Sebastian Loeb challenge, i really don't get how they control those rally cars so well, it's like driving on ice with gravel thrown in for extra grip loss.

Getting nothing but crap for my 1000 tickets have been my moments. I don't hate the game, just my luck. :irked:

Until this upcoming wed(thank you high spd internet), my droid devour acts as my modem..it works pretty well, w/ the usual occasional connection issues(being wireless and all) and when I get txt messages it slows down. But phonecalls completely disconnect from lobby server meaning phone and ps3 have to be restarted to go online, so you can imagine the conversation w/ the gf..."so yeah, don't call me @ all while I'm playing." That usually goes well(implied sarcasm)...lol

Everyone who say the Nascar was hell, did you use a DS3? Because it was pretty easy with a wheel, wasn't frustrating at all. IC-10 took some tries

The New Drift events! I don't drift on dirt (thats rally) nor use the silly Speed 12
Oh and I do like the new suit although its kinda pointless everyones going to have 1 and the helmet looks shocking!!!!!!

The number 1 thing I hate most is Jeff Gordon saying "Don't hit the cones!

I also hate the fact that nearly every car in the 60 license tests and special events is intentionally gimped in some way to add that extra layer of frustration frosting.

IC-10. I hate this test more than anything. I can't get first place. I've done second, but not first.

The unforgiving nature of the Vettel challenges. I've only managed Bronze on Monza with a time of 2.11. The car is so fast it gives me motion sickness, especially on Nurburgring. I can't stand the way it disqualifies me for any little imperfection and the waiting every time to get out of the pit.

I also dislike the Color Paint chip system. Seriously, why not a color wheel or a paint store in GT auto. Why 20 million poorly sorted color chips to go through. It makes me rage.

I spent at least...5 hours to gold one of the expert challanges. I wouldn't say they are hard...as you need to be perfect for those seasonals. I finally got gold on the first 2, enough to buy the 2 cars I wanted from the ocd and usd. Such a pain though. Probably put in 10-15 hours in total come to think about it.

A spec nascar daytona. for awhile I thought this was impossible

Spending months cycling UCD for a car and it never showing up...

Waiting 20 minutes in an online lobby for the race to start... only to be crashed out in the first turn by some idiot

only being able to have 20 mill.. and spending it all in a matter of hours

loading times

stopping myself here.

Money and going a little bit off and literally being pulled off track.

I HATE THAT!

And also the unbelievable time it takes to get racing again after a restart (mostly after being pulled off in the last lap)
