9.5/10 PD have done a fantastic job with this game. They listen to the community, patch problems, there's DLC out, racing and driving is great, graphics are beautiful, there's 1000 cars. Even if some are less detailed than others, what other racing game has that many cars? What more can you ask for?

The ratings of 4, 5, 6 are a joke and not credible.

as are ratings over 8 then.

GT5 is an excellent game, it is FAR from perfect. Because it's got everything someone wants and they can give it a 9 or more then someone who feels that GT5 does NOT give them what they want are justified in scoring it low.

Depends on what you mean. For me its 9.5 but for the average player it's probably a 7/8. If you love cars, you'll love Gran Turismo. It's always been that way.

9/10 is a fair score!need some improvement in thr online-mode like flags, better servers and more few things!in the last last 3years i have played only 2games GT5p and GT5(GT5 i have played more than 1000hours(900/1000 in the online mode!)so for me it's the best.

Since you snipped my post, I'll state more clearly for you:

I said This while quoting a post that said:
'It's lasted me a year and I'm still not done with it.'. For me this constitutes a high rating and I gave it a 9/10.

We agree that it is an excellent game but not perfect. This is why it isn't a 10/10 since 10 is perfect. Excellent constitutes a rating of 8 or 9 by nearly every unbiased game rating system that exists.

Depending on one's preference in what one was looking for or expecting in GT5, I think that ratings between 7 & 9 are realistic.

And I still maintain that ratings of 4, 5, 6 are a joke and not credible.
