11 new premium nascar models, a new GTR premium model, standards will all have interiors and I suspect some of the standard to have been updated (like the trucks) because they look horrible. So like the guy said above me around 2.5gb. Models really don't take up that much space, but textures will be little more space consuming. I just always suspect that PD will at least add other things to the game besides just those new content. I mean how can you call the update 2.0 if the content added doesn't equal nearly as much as 1.0??? Never understood that at all...

Oh oh oh oh oh...I've just heard about this now!👍

Please please please please fcuking give us back Seattle in the course pack DLC. Thats all I want.👍

Geez... some people always gotta complain especially on the internet. I'm excited for Spec 2 update it shows the team their still dedicated in farther improving the game, plus we're finally going to get DLC. I'm not a bit concern with the way PD handled standard car interiors in the future some those cars will eventually become premiums anyways. :D

This, Seattle is the track I miss the most from GT4.

Did you honestly think PD were going to go back and re-model 800+ cars to have full interior views and then release that as a FREE update?

wow......some people....:ouch:

I never said that. Go back and read the last page.

So, the list in the news, is it a complete sheet of new features or are some still unannounced?
The new RM-cars are not announced yet other than the screenshot.

So no, the list isn't complete to the fullest.

...

Why can't Polyphony Digital do the samething? Did you even read the last few posts?

You should probably ask them. Although they might think it self-explanatory. I mean, it's pretty obvious they only managed to make 200 cars for the new game, the rest having already been made for two previous games. Plus they seem reticent to out-source, which I can understand.

Did you even follow GT5's development?

They haven't announced everything yet, and we still don't know what is in the DLC packs, exactly. Just that it's track and cars, but i'm excited to see exactly what those are, even though I already have a pretty good idea what the track pack is.

Your high standards are really quite ridiculous.

Not really. He has around 100 posts, yet all of them regurgitate the same rhetoric.

No, but I have read your posts. You obviously are here for one or two reasons, and that's to complain or argue..

Ooh? I guess you haven't read my posts at all then. I've done neither of those things, and i've praised the rest of the Spec 2.0 update and the DLC packs. So whatever you say.

What is scaring me is that the Racing Car Pack DLC will be RM cars, which im not a fan of based on the pics shown. I was hoping for a new Super GT car, or DTM, or something similar. But hey Im still buying. :)

You made you're point, why keep bringing it up? That smells of troll behaviour. I agree with you on the standards but I dont keep posting it over and over.

Just 1 thing I need to say ... Cockpits for the F1 cars!!!!! I cannot wait for this update!

Also, they will have to add new ASpec events to include the new tracks, or maybe we will start earning credits/XP for free races. They need to include the new dlc tracks into the game somehow, I can't wait!

Amazing Update, IMHO.

A LOT of things wich we (as the general community) were asking.

And the things wich are NOT listed in this "quick report" and as CarloPlaya says, knowing PD will be included.

And then came the DLC. Wich is GREAT !

But... haters will always hate. If we start a search for users that says "I want DLC NOW" and now says "I HATE DLC. GIVE ME 2000 CARS FREE", they will probably be the same people...

A GREAT UPDATE IN ALL MEANS :D

And if you like Forza. Go play it. And if that "game" creates a movement even half as big as the GT5 community, then we´ll talk.

It's something I want to discuss? I think it's an interesting conversation because no game developer has ever intentionally put so much inconsistent quality into their game before. It doesn't make me a troll just because you don't like what I have to say. I'm appalled at what people find acceptable for a triple AAA playstation 3 title, but I guess you can't change everyones opinions.

•Simplified interior views added to all standard cars. - Well, we had that in gtpsp, besides its "very" simplified. Again, a feature that was in previous gt games, nothing really "new"
•User control of the weather change feature. - Okay, and how does that improve that gameplay?
•Settings sheet which allows you to save multiple car settings. - Well, as far as i know, you could save multiple setups in previous gt series, to bad it took 10 months for PD to "implement".
•New Spec 2.0 opening movie. - Wow, as far as i know, many players dont even watch the intro.
•Improved UI response and usability. - Okay, dont know what that mean...
•Replay forward/rewind. - Again, a common feature, all games should have these days, not really anything value adding...
•Mid-race save feature for endurance races. - Well, good for the endurance racers, again to bad it took 10 months to get this feature..
•Expanded online lounge features (narrowing down car types, shuffle races…). - Good for the verry bad implemented online mode i guess...
•Expanded Photo Travel features (you can now take photos of cars together with your avatar). - Wow, another blinf bling feature, that really doesnt give any value adding stuff to the gameplay, its like these racing suits and helmets, useless stuff...
•Added “NASCAR Pit Scene” stage to Photo Travel. - I dont even comment on this...
•Added 11 new 2011 NASCAR models. - Okay, 11 new nascar models? As far as i know, there are plenty of other cars that are more wanted...again very strange decision regarding the car list from PD.
•Added the Nissan GT-R N24 Schulze Motorsport (the car in which Kazunori contested the 2011 Nurburgring 24 Hours). - Wow, another Nissan gtr, as if we dont have enough of these allreaddy.
•Improved physics and artificial intelligence. - Okay, improved in what way?
•Support for the Logitech G25/G27 steering wheel. - Okay, another feature that should be in from the beginning..Well, i dont se:

- Drag racing, which is a most wanted feature. I guess PD and Kaz missed the "Drag section" on this forum, and all user generated drag rooms in online play?
- Change rims on standard cars, as the rims were allreaddy modelled from gt4
- Any new car models, exept these nascars and gtr. What about popular standards beeing premium?

Im not impressed, since these features more or less was in previous games, and hence these stuff should be in game from the beginning. Another evidence that the game wasnt finished.

Then create a thread, not in this one... There is nothing to discuss, obviously like any project it's a matter of man power, resources, priorities. not everyone has unlimited budgets and manpower.

And who's complaining? Go and play Forza then. What's the problem? We not stupid believe me.
And how the hell you can call Forza4 cockpits accurate? You crazy? Do you even saw McLaren F1 cockpit in FM4? Go and see first...

How it's hard for someone to get that numbers are not all that we have. 500+ Forza cars and what? To me it goes like this. GT3 was fun with 130 without cockpits.

ALUCARD0712. I´m with you 100%

Forza 4 models are indeed pretty, as any videogame today, but to call them "Fully detailed" is kind of a joke.

Forza 4 will be a "fun game". An "american-kind-of-fun" game.

But I still prefer GT5. And at least PD took a year to start selling DLC. Not as M$, wich are teasing it EVEN after the game came out.
