Yes you are.

I'm pumped. My god maybe I'll actually play GT5 again! In game race saves too!

I'm with you on the standard cockpit view, but the rest of the update is really awesome.

Tons of us wanted exactly that for Standard cars. I mean, what else could you expect for 800 cars?

How big will this update be in MB/GB?
Feels like its gonna be over 1GB of space, watching on previous updates perhaps 1 gb may be to little. How about all that dont have 1Gbit internet connection??? 10 hours download? Hope im wrong or ill have a heartattack waiting it to download and install.

Edit: Hopefully i never need to reinstall this game..this perhaps 2gb + previous patch 700Mb...ouch

I sure hope they include Dodge Nascar Cars or Nascar is not of interest to me.

Yes^^^ Same here. I'll like NASCAR when I can root for a brand I like:drool:. NASCAR doesn't come anywhere near Portland, Oregon though, so it's appeal in general is lesser to me. :guilty:

You have extremely low standards then, which is a shame really. And i'm disappointed that PD agrees. If you're going to do something, do it right, or not at all. Having inconsistent quality like this, is unacceptable in a flagship PlayStation 3 title.

Looks like I will have a new found love with GT5. I honestly haven't played it in a few months and 2.0 is looking good along with the DLC. Now I can finally play the endurance races.👍

It's 1000GB, you need new HDD for this. And what do you expect? All standards now have a black interiors! It's huge amount of textures!

Sorry! I think can be up to 1GB or more. However there is a chance that it will be around 500mb or less. It's all depended on how they use patch system (just add files and system will recognize them or completely replace executables with new files etc...) Size may vary greatly!

True on both accounts, that doesn't mean everybody should like this solution, I may drive those open top cars where an actual interior is visible (even though the dials won't be working) much more than I currently do but a black outline interior on most cars doesn't persuade me.
Perhaps tons of people wanted this, tons of people however won't be impressed also.

I really hope that now we can atleast put rims on standard cars!!! And the picture with the gtr and the mazda rx7 in the background looks epic. NEW CARS!

So working/tweaking on 800 car cockpits, doing premium cars, doing tracks and also adding new features and tons of other things is low standard? Especially for a small company such as PD? Sure thing boss. 👍

First you want a cockpit view for all cars then you screaming that its shame? Man it's real world, not dream world when all are perfect. It's real peoples wanting and real peoples working. And it takes real time.

We not have a extremely low standards then. We already accepted poor looking (but good driving) standard cars. It's better than nothing. Now we have basic cockpit view for them, it's even better. And we talking about standard cars right? Don't use them that's all! You will get perfect game then?

They could have hired more people, or not implement 800 poorly looking cars that tarnish the Gran Turismo name. 💡

The standard cars aren't getting what I would call a cockpit view. A cockpit view would be up to the same standards as the premium models.

wow, 1000 interiors. thats definitely a middle finger to forza.

But 800 of them are band-aid solutions to a bigger problem and look nothing like their real life counter parts. Forza 4 will have over 500+ cars with accurate, fully modeled interior views.

Your high standards are really quite ridiculous.

Your high standards are really quite ridiculous.

Why? Other racing sims have done exactly what im asking for.

How is this still, at all acceptable for a flagship PS3 title, and a sequel to one of the best selling racing sims ever?

And who's complaining? Go and play Forza then. What's the problem? We not stupid believe me.
And how the hell you can call Forza4 cockpits accurate? You crazy? Do you even saw McLaren F1 cockpit in FM4? Go and see first...

How it's hard for someone to get that numbers are not all that we have. 500+ Forza cars and what? To me it goes like this. GT3 was fun with 130 without cockpits.

Apparently numbers do matter...

So, uh, what's the problem?

Why can't Polyphony Digital do the samething? Did you even read the last few posts?

Oh wow, it's never ending. Back in the day, I'm hearing the approval of many that a black outline was fine. Heck, it was even discussed in an interview. Now, a bunch are talking about inconsistency and whatnot.

There was also a time where a lot of people talked about just releasing the game early, and update it through patches. This is exactly what's happening, yet quiet a few are saying all this should've been at released. What? You want GT5 to release a year later than it was in 2010?

I understand that not everyone can be satisfied, but please make it bearable to read with all the contradictions. If it's something that a lot of fans asked for, and we get it, then it's just that. Don't make it personal that it's not specific to your exact wants and needs.

Free is free can't complain about that. A better faster UI is nice as well. I just hoped for more / better content upgrades / improvements. Especially with Forza 4 coming out. These are minor, if at all improvements, free or not.

I'm looking for more / new premium cars / upgrades.......not ugly PS2 interiors, that is all. No harm intended just my opinion.

I'm assuming the paid DLC will have premium cars, which i'm the most excited about, and the DLC track pack.

And why they need to do same thing?

GT have many things that no other racing game have (especially at such mix). And so in Forza. Don't see the problem at all really!
I thought game is good because it gives than no other game can give...

BTW: PD has small team, that's why.
