So it seems a few people will be away, but I'd like to get the series started before people start to lose interest. In this case, everyone will still get to keep their spots. We could also possibly make an exception and do this during the week if everyone is interested.

You are right about wanting the season to start, perhaps we could do a pre-season race instead?
Don't sign me up yet for the 380, I still want to test the 370(Z34) before making a final decision. ST3 is where I really want to race(NSX), so I'll test that car out and let you know!
 
Pre-season race is probably a great idea. We could try and do it sometime this week. I'll come up with some details and give it it's own posting.

So this will be it, test/practice race will be held on a yet-undetermined track next Saturday, mid-afternoon US time. Not super familiar with the time zone if someone will help me out. How many of you can make it?

And remember, signups are still open. We haven't quite hit sixteen, and the other cars will either serve as backup drivers. Like I think someone said earlier, it's well understood that not everyone can make every race. It is the first season on GT5, as well, so it will be good to work everything out.
 
Well GN+, on the timezone thing, you are 13 hours ahead of U.S. Eastern time, 14 ahead of Central, 15 ahead of Mountain and 16 ahead of Pacific time.

I am in the pacific time zone, as I write it is 2:20pm Sunday the third. The time in Tokushima is 6:20am Monday the fourth.

Sorry for the delay. I think you guys will be pumped for this exhibition race. Trying to take some pictures right now to make the event seem real.
 
2.30pm PDT is a bad time for me sorry (i'm NZST which is UTC+12), I will try and make it though. if possible could we bring it forward just an hour or 3?

GN+ can you please clarify the new rule surrounding the power restrictor?

I am okay with doing it sooner, if everyone else is on board.

As far as power limiter, you may only use within so many horsepower above the limit. For example, if the class limit is 320 hp, you can't build a car with 500 horsepower and use the power limiter to make it 320. You can only use it within five HP of the limit, so if you were to make 325 hp, you can power limit it to 320.

Also, just two quick questions...

How does engine break in play into the series? Since mileage counts in online races, and my M3 isn't broken in at all, how will that play out with the power limiters?

And my second question is...my M3, as I was fitting the Engine Tuning Stage 1 for it it said it would have 503bhp so I could power limit it down. However the settings say it had 504bhp. Am I allowed to power limit the car down to 500 in this situation or do I have to fit a new exhaust?

504 is good. You can bring it down to 500. As for breaking your car in, I would recommend handing it over to B-Spec as soon as you can. ;) As far as breaking in, in a perfect world we wouldn't run into this issue, but if it does give you a horsepower gain, just let me know. I think everyone will be honorable enough to lower it back to the right HP.
 
I saw on the calendar that is scheduled on Saturday, a perfect day for me, but at what time is the race going to be held? I'm interested in the series because endurance is one of my favorite type of events

For Mexico it would be mid-afternoon. at least for the first race.
