Gt5 Taking Much Longer to Load than Before

Hey there.

For the last day or two, it's taken much more effort to get GT5 to start. It usually just stops at the main logo.

What gives?

Not as far as I can tell. This started this week. It used to work perfectly.

Could be internet related - apparantly even in single player the game is accessing the servers so if they are slow or your internet connection is being lazy maybe that could everything down. You could try unplugging internet and see if that helps.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. Most likely will disrupt your loading, so just sign-out off your PSN and yep.

I've had loading problems also. Disconnecting for the net made no difference.

I noticed menus and loading slowed down a lot after this weekend. I was getting a lot of freezing/slowdown on the silver GT loading screen.

It runs a lot faster for me if I sign out of PSN at the moment.

Sounds like signing out helps some, but not all people.

Has anyone who is having problems tried clearing the cache, that might be worth a shot.

Every time you have loading problems (GT emblem keeps on refreshing) it's the internet connection... Disable internet for the time being it loads too long.
That'll work, it's not you PS3 or you disc, it's GT5 connected to the internet constantly and therefore it can slow down when maintenance or lag issues come on the servers...

Been stated alot by PD and inhere all around...
