I don't think people want to know everything. It's just we know very little of the things that seem important. It's not like there is a plot to spoil anyway.
 
@ravellron: it is possible...but only if you don't look into the internet and if you don't have buddies that tell you every new detail...
I have to admit I am too curious for not looking into this forum every second day or so.. shame on me... ;-)

@nielsen: why do you think there is not much we know?
rally: confirmed
night-day-change: confirmed
carts: confirmed
damage: confirmed
track creator: confirmed
16 players: confirmed
etc...
-> it should be enough that we "know" all this is included... after release we will see realization (how good or bad it is done)...
I mean: we ALL will be the game anyhow, won't we?.... damn addiction ;-)

I'm thinking about waiting to see the intro when I fire up the game, rather than seeing it when it hits the web. But it will be SO tempting not to watch it when it comes online

i probably won't be on here 3-4 days maybe more when gt5 comes out, i'll be too busy playing and enjoying it. Experiencing the greatness

Why do you guys think 100% sure we will get weather? I can imagine already the dissapointment threads if there will be no weather...

With this graphics, 16 cars on track, this damage and night racing, I think the PS3 must be on it´s limits... If we now get weather, I would be really surprised of this 4 years old console...

And then, if we get weather really, then I can see the dissapointment threads that there is maybe no working windshield wiper...

It will never end... What comes after rain?

i doubt that PS3 can handle this graphics (track , 16 or 8 cars , volumetric dirt & smoke , superb lighting , ...) with very good (or even good) weather effects.

Tell you what. Since you want to be surprised, why don't you not log onto gtplanet until you buy the game? Go visit some other websites for a while, there's plenty to see on the internet.

And for those of us who wants the details, hopefully we'll get all the juicy stuff in a few days.

There have been numerous other blogs, and magazines, and journalists that claimed KAZ told/showed them something. It doesn't mean anything.
 
so if we see rain like that (which would be cool) would windscreen wipers work?

No actually windshields will incorporate hairdryers that will dry raindrops before they touch the glass

November 2nd no one will be on this apart from Europeans and Japenese on the 2nd but than we will be playing that non-stop.
 
I wonder what Turn10 would do about rain and windshield wipers since they don't don't the whole active parts thing

Yeah definitely. I think I might check GTP when I grab some food or something, see the little quirks and maybe how to get some more credits easily
