EDIT: However I guess the embargo might be good news though. Might mean some awesome info is going to be released!
 
I think it starts in 2 hours. The show that is. It's 4pm pacific time, and from the home page link it says that at 6pm pacific time the show starts.

tomorrow Tokyo time, but they don't say when (time).. I can imagine in Tokyo morning and the embargo until the conf

EDIT: now that i think about it... they talk before about the last guardian (fumito ueda is taking an "own" keynote at japanese 15 pm, so 2h after the sony conf.) and than they speak about the keynote about GT5.. so maybe is after the Sony conf and Ueda keynote
 
The embargo must be be talking about a separate event just for GT5. Can't be for anything shown at the 1PM conference because it is being streamed live.

Thinking out loud: Has the Japanese release date been announced?

If you don't speak the language, you can always get screen shots and watch the footage (for whatever it's worth).

If it's Japanese, I can only make wild guesses from any possible footage they show. I don't know if it's worth it really.

Anyway has it been confirmed whether new GT5 details will be revealed or not during Sony's conference or will they save it for the embargo? At Gamescom we only got a release date during Sony's conference while other games got a higher priority.

Just think it weird that 6 weeks from a worldwide release, they still feel the need to embargo stuff.

Should be showing every awesome feature off at this point! *shrugs*

I will get some much needed sleep and hope to see some amazing stuff in the morning.

It is very good news. They'll probably discuss GT5's importance as a 3D title at the Sony press conference, then tomorrow they'll provide more details about GT5 at the private event. Shortly thereafter, the embargo will be lifted and the official GT site will be updated at that exact moment to help give Sony an advantage against the rest of the popular media and sites like GTPlanet.

However, if what happened at Gamescom is any indication, it's kind of a moot point because the playable demo on the show floor (which attendees should have access to at 10AM Tokyo time) gives most new things away. Granted, last time I was able to reveal all of that early on at GC because the GTP/ISR team was there. This time, we'll have to depend on "the Internet".
