Yep, I logged on PSN and when I logged off it went into maintenance again.

They can update GT5 when PSN is down, so PSN coming back up shouldn't make a bit of difference with the update.

Updated firmware a while ago but it wouldn't let me log in. It wanted me to change my password, so I did, but then I got the error 80710D36. I just now tried it again after reading the reply about signing out and back in, and it says that the network is down for maintenance.

Some regions have problems with the amount of traffic coming in. The Netherlands was down aswell for 2 hours after being up for 30 minutes.

With all the major events since it's release (i.e. tsunami/quake, hack), I just hope it hasn't been dropped.

If they even as much as mention the word "GT6" on E3 I'm going to be really angry. They can't start building hype for the next product and leave us with this half-finished trainwreck.

With Nintendo releasing their new console, it will soon be time for us to say hello to the new PS4.

I expect 6 to be on the 4... and stuff.

a patch for end of May would be grand. Although yes, development and release of the PS4 for late 2012 should be top priority, IMO, with quad physical Cell cpu's , so 2 can handle security.

+1. It's tough doing 9+ hours with a 3yo running around, let alone the 24 hour enduros. Don't get me wrong, should I get the chance, I'm down for the Nurburgring... but without in race saves or B-spec switches (like in GT4) I just don't see it happening.

And that sucks.

i hope the use the shadow blending they used in GT5P.. its sad to say GT5P graphics are better then GT5. also Mid race saves, Tire & BHP Restrictions in A-spec, just to name a few things
