Ok good, My list starts 11 days before Famines. and seems to have 5 cars from each day, and 1 car from the next days hextet.

I've gone up to day 19 on my new account, and I've entered 5 days from my main account around 844 for me.

Alright your starting at nearly the same place as crazedmodder and I just found a match for first post in pr0cy0n622 list (day 505 in the master list). I didn't find a match the first time because I hadn't added his info yet to the master list. :guilty: Thanks for checking! 👍

It's good to see so many people matching lists. Now if only we could figure out when (if) the list cycles back.

From my day 1, I've got 9 days before the Fastas/Famine list starts, I'll try to add some more tonight, then send it to you.

My main account is on Day 844, which matches 834 for Fastas, and the car which is missing from his list for his day 834 is the "Mercedes-Benz - SL 600 (R129) '98" which appears as a 7th car on day 837 ! 👍

Yep, the bottom right car of your UCD is considered the oldest and the top right is considered the newest. Following that, TornadoAlley's list goes from oldest at the top to newest at the bottom

I have to create a new PSN for the WRS in the next few days, so I will jot down the day 1 list and the cars in my current game when i do that - Im only a few hundred game days in, so dont expect me to be one finding the end of the cycle :)

Updated the master list to contain pr0cy0n622 and YouichiHophop's contributions.

YouichiHophop I would recommend downloading the most recent compiled list. It has Famine's order corrected (I think). So those days should go pretty fast for you (just double checking the entries). It is always helpful to check the work and you eventually could fill in the gap that we have around your 91 day mark.

I'm thinking I might need to increase the gap after the end of crazedmodders current list but I'll wait for now.

you're in luck as your cycle starts at tornadoalley's day 2 (master list day 51). you will find that all of your cycle up to your current race day has been listed and much has been found after your current day so this list might help you find the cars you're looking for

your current day is tornadoalley's day 132 (master list day 181)

Did the numbering of the list get a little off in this last update?

I'm just curious because yesterday, the end of my game-day corresponded exactly to the end of the master-day - but now it is off by one row.

If you look at spreadsheet row 3482 you can see that the last car from my game-day 580 is actually shown as the first car in master-day 581 - which it shouldn't be. It should be the last car in master-day 580. I don't believe there should be any cars listed in master-day 581 at this point.

Just wanted to check on this, as it seems something might have gotten off by a row.

Why does there have to be a certain pattern? Why cant people realize that it's completely random?
 
Did you bother reading any of the thread?

It isn't random, which is precisely the point. The fact that many users from different parts of the world all match up to the huge on-going list means there is definitely a programmed order... we just don't know how long it is.
 
I don't get why PD is using this pattern thing. It's stupid imo. No wonder GT5 has been postponed that often, they had nothing better to do than lining up each car in the UCD lol.

The .zip file in the main post is broken for me, anyone else encountering this?

Hmmm...Do you recall if the list that you had yesterday had chances14 list at the beginning? It shifted everyone's list by a day because of it starting before crazedmodder's list. I'm pretty sure things are still OK. The master day is really not that big of deal as everyone can start at different points in each hextet. I just put it in there to help with looking ahead several days in the list.

I know there are some issues later in the list when I hit fastas region of the list and that is due to days with 7 cars and other minor errors. Those should work themselves out as people fill in the corrected information.

The list from yesterday didn't have chances14's data in it yet - Crazedmodder was the first on the list. If my data was shifted by entire day (one hextet) I don't think I would have noticed - what made me wonder was, for example; yesterday my last day of data (last six cars) were:

I assumed that players always started at the beginning or end of a hextet - but if users can start at any point within the hextet - then yes, the master-day would only be useful for reference.

(Should be 66 rows - but there are 67) Spreadsheet line 68 is the first day of master-day 12 and chances14 lists it as his game day 8 - but there is only one car from his game-day 8. I suppose this could explain the one row shift in data. Should that car be there, or are there maybe five cars missing from his game-day 8?

No there aren't 5 cars missing from his game-day 8. The last 5 cars in his day 8 hextet are the first 5 cars in crazedmodders list.

A player can start at any point in the master list which from then on defines each hextet for that player. There are people who are only one car different from another player.

No worries. I would much rather people carefully check this than have errors start creeping in.
 
Well...just went through 2000+ days...thought the C5 R might be the key for me as it only appears once and I picked it up a couple days ago...found the C5 on day 1460 but can't match to anything else in the pattern...

If you record your current day and exactly what is in the used car lot as well as starting a new game on a different account and recording the day 1 lot we might be able to piece together something.

I agree that it could prove very useful.

For what it's worth I updated my own personal spreadsheet (the one with the search program) to contain 532 days of my UCL. I'll keep updating it as I confirm data put into the compiled database.
 
ok great job on the list my question is i am going blind trying to find what lines the fgt's are on the master list.

i know the day i'm on i just can't find the fgt's to match up thanks

1 thing i can recall is that fgt was there on day 1 of mt ucd list

Your best bet is to download the compiled list as an excel file and then you can use the autofilter feature in excel to see what days the FGT shows up. Then I would go to each day and look for other cars that you have near in in your used car lot.

Unfortunately google spreadsheet doesn't have the filter feature or else you could just do it there.

Yea! I've finished filling in the gap between Day 581 and 641. My data also flows seamlessly into the Day 641-forward data from Crazedmodder. Looks good!

Great Job!

Got it incorporated. Because my main game is only about 532 days into the master list I'm going to try skipping ahead several hundred days and look for the YouichiHophop, Famine, fastas section.

Nice to see all of that work out so far.

I've downloaded the latest list, cheers Tornado.

I've got another 20 days at the start, but they just match Famines so far, I'll upload again after the weekend, should have something more informative by then.
 
I've started only checking and recording my lot every 20 days or so and it is looking like I grossly underestimated the space between the two pieces of the list. I've added roughly 100 more days after the end of crazedmodder's list and filled in what info I've collected.

I'll be out until Sunday evening so anyone who posts more updates I won't get around to them until then.

Keep up the good work! I haven't lost hope (yet) on seeing this thing cycle back.

Technically your day 1 is matching up with the last two cars from day 7 and the first 4 from day 8 for crazedmodder. Either way I would really like to see your day 1478 (or anything after that) as that would be by far the furthest someone has been that has been matching near the beginning of the master car list.
