gt5 worst cars

And on topic, one of the worst cars in GT5 the Nissan R35. It's one of the rare few cars which are so boring and lacking in excitement that I've fallen asleep driving. It's not at all fun, even when I'm playing tag and have a RS6 chasing after me…

Try this: Go to the Top Gear Test Track. Go around the track, then, on entry to the penultimate corner at about 115-120 MPH, hold the e-brake down while turning in. The car will achieve a drift angle of about 80 degrees. Then, slam on the gas and watch the electronics pull the car through. It's the only fun thing to do in an R35. At least it kept me from falling asleep.
Actually, on a more related note, the first time I drove the R35 it scared the crap out of me. The driving dynamics were so artificial, I could feel the power being moved around. I thought any minute I would lose grip and crash. It doesn't feel like a true sports car, but a fake one.

I would…but I'd have collapsed asleep trying to get around the track in the first place. And the first time I drove it, it was online in a one make race, I just couldn't believe the understeer in the thing. At least, that was until the computers swung the back out and into a passing car.

Wait, you're confusing me. What car are you necessarily aiming at with that extract? The old GTS-R R31 (which is fine seeing as that is the top sport spec for that chassis), the newer R32 GT-R (which is perfectly fine albeit my 'least' favourite of the big three/four), the RWD drivetrain on that racing Skyline (which is a conversion so that doesn't count), the old KPGC110 (which is still stunning)? Explain a bit more what you're trying to make me see here...
R32 GTS, build before R32 GTR, build after old GTS-R...
Build to compete, but soon changed to 4wd...
The first to have the newer boxy desing etc.

So the one you hate is the missing link in the world of skylines.
That car was important to what skylines are now today.

Nissan Kohki (Nissan's power train engineering and manufacturing facility) originally tested a twin turbocharged 2350cc bored and stroked version of the RB20 engine. This set up produced 233 kW (313 hp) and used a RWD drivetrain

I see what you mean, but it mentions the GT-R at first being rear wheel drive, not the GTS which is rear wheel drive. Then Nissan went and changed it to 4WD, but doesn't that effectively say that the RWD setup on the GTS wasn't as good? The way you put it is kinda confusing.

Bigbazz
Toyota Prius
Kubelwagon
Schwimwagon - Yeah we know they look cool and are historic and great if you want to pretend you're the fuhrer, but they are useless.
Red Bull X2010
Red Bull X2011

Pretty much, but i would replace the X1 and add the samba bus.

Grayfox
Jay Leno Tank Car.

It's an important car to include in my opinion. It's an extreme of weight. It's probably there for educational purposes, showing the importance of weight reduction.
Cars in the extreme range are very important for GT. :)

Formula Gran Turismo
And all cars which models are over 3 different variations in Gran Turismo (with that I mean Mazda MX5 roadster, RX7, Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo, Skyline R34 bladieblah etc etc)

What a ****e attitude 👎

Its exactly that attitude that inspired this guy (a good friend of mine) to build this

And there's a lovely sticker on the back saying "its only a GTSt" lol

I'm sure i seen that car at japshow, maybe last year? it was awesome! Oh i'm also a gts-t owner, with more power than a standard gtr, and more importantly rwd!

I love them all. Big, small, fast, slow, standard or premium. The only ones I dislike are the ones that were poorly modeled by PD, or have a technical detail flaw. Still, I drive them.

Examples of cars I dislike: the Premium M5 (ironically, one of my favorite cars), Nissan S13, Dodge Viper GTS (one of my dream cars), Veyron... and the list goes on...

I have to disagree... Specially with the Tank Car! Leave mah babeh alone!!!!

But the last thing that you said about the repetitive model thing, I have to agree 110% with you. Just to think how many cars are out of the game because of this makes my blood boil.

nissan cube and all those crappy suburban housewife cars. no place for them in GT5

i dont hate skylines, miata, GTO, evo, subaru wrx and RX8/7 but there are way too many, wouldn't be a problem if there weren't so many great cars missing from game (aston, austin healy, morgan, lambo, ferrari, porsche, bmw, ditomaso, konig, etc... and where the hell is the pontiac firebird from Smokey and the Bandit!)

Caterham. Fully tuned version, about 300bhp and 500kg. You will think: Wow this car have to be fast. But it isnt.

The ones you don't even know the names of without looking:

S Daihatsu MOVE Custom RS Limited '02
S Daihatsu MOVE CX '95
S Daihatsu MOVE SR-XX 2WD '97
S Daihatsu MOVE SR-XX 4WD '97

S Toyota ALTEZZA AS200 '98
S Toyota ALTEZZA Gita AS300 '01
S Toyota ALTEZZA RS200 '98
S Toyota ARISTO 3.0V '91
S Toyota ARISTO V300 '00
S Toyota ARISTO V300 Vertex Edition '00
S Toyota bB 1.5Z X Version '00
S Toyota CARINA ED 2.0 X 4WS '89

And that's no where near a compete list.

You obviously haven't tried Prius drifting... that car is awesome.

Formula Gran Turismo

How can you not like the FGT? Especially now when it's got cockpit view!

So tell me, ho many cars do you think were left out because of those? How about 0? Or do you really think that they made every version of those cars from scratch? Personally I think it was a lot of copypasting, and that is rather quick.

cars I hate : Redbull X2010 and X2011. Everytime I see these cars I just think GT could have put in a BMW M3 E30 instead, or Citroen DS3. GGGrrrr,

Other cars I hate are Citroen Concept the cockpit views are almost unusable !

and not forgetting the two german military cars, these have no serious use in GT what so ever. !

Lastly the Jay Leno Tank Car because along with the Redbull it's the chosen vehicle of the online teenage rammer. Again this has almost no real purpose in the game other than to annoy me !

These are the cars I would love to see in their place

Redbull X2010 = Arial Atom V8 or Radical
Military Cars = Bowler Wildcat V8
Jay Leno Tank Car = BMW M3 E30
Citroen Concept = Citroen DS3 Racing........pleeeease Kaz Pleeeease

That's only when stock. It should be a lot lot faster when stock, but PD screwed up its implementation in the game badly. Originally I thought it wasn't much better tuned until I actually beat an S2k Turbo in it around Grand Valley :D

-common, economic and low performant sedans
-little and VERY slow cars
-Jay Leno's tank car
-Volkswagen Kubelwagen
-Volkswagen Schwimmwagen
-Volkswagen SambaBus
-all the damn clones of MX5, Skyline, Silvia, RX7, Impreza, Evo, 3000GT, S2000, Civic, NSX.......
-some concepts

I don't hate any car... There are cars that I don't give a $#!t about... I hate my self for not giving a $#!t... but that is another story...

I know is just a matter of copy-pasting. Still, these cars are filling the space that others could be using. Probably the "file size," or whatever term is given to game content, isn´t significant with some of these, but if you add up ALL the repetitive variants (note that since GTPSP this goes to a rediculous level of adding the same car, with different names for specific markets, like the Lutecia Renaults, which are the same regular Renaults), I´m pretty sure it fill up enough space.

For me the worst car is the BTR'86, without helps is totally screwed, it's impossible to drive, for me this car is bugged because i don't think that the porche btr 86 is a piace of crap like this one in the game!

I find it fine to drive with no aids(sports softs). Its an excellent car in my opinion.

VW WWII vehicles
Prius
the ten thousand Skylines and Miatas
X2010/X2011 (ruined the game)
all the crappy Kei cars (basically all the Daihatsus and Suzukis)

But it's fun to drive.... Craziest car to drift too!! It is wild! Insane! Utterly unbelievable!!! It is a 300hp go-kart that is shorter than an f1 car, it feels like a go-kart when it turns but without the loss of control! It is soooo FUN!!!!
