What I find useless is the Suzuki Swift Sport '05 and '07. I don't hate the car itself, but I find it useless how PD added both in the game. Seriously, what was the point in that?

Several other people have already posted very similar lists to mine:

X2010/11 (difficult to drive with DS3, used widely by jerks who want to ruin online races)
The 5,000 variants of Nissan Skyline, Mazda Miata or Honda NSX
Treating different paint schemes for the NASCAR as unique vehicles

The most irritating thing to me is Polyphony's seemingly overwhelming focus on creating redundant models of Japanese cars; sometimes it comes across as an arrogant insistence upon foisting the developers' tastes upon the customer base. While there is undoubtedly a long list of reasons -- many of which are probably quite legitimate -- why they select particular models and companies over others for the game, I doubt that it would be prohibitively more difficult for Polyphony to create a model for, say, a Koenigsegg as opposed to another Nissan.

Nascars are important to the series and a very much welcomed addition to GT5 and there are no shortages of Nascar lobbies online at any given time. It is a solid and very popular motorsport.

Karts on the other hand just seem misplaced and it feels to be one of the more arcadish things PD has done with the GT series. Wasn't a big fan of the idea two years ago and still am not today. You would've figured motorcycles might of made it into the game before karts??

The Ferrari F1... I know there is a seasonal for it, but damn... all the time they've put into that car just so that it can look pretty in your garage is just a damn waste. They could've modeled something else much more desirable like a F355, F360 Stradale, or F50?

And then theres the X1. While I've grown to at least tolerate and accept them as part of the GT series, I still don't they belong in this game. It seems like something more worthy of a spin-off like one of the GT Concept games or maybe it'd fit in with Codemaster's F1 2011 game. It just doesn't seem realstic to me and I won't buy that it could happen until I see something out there comparable to the claims made in the description. I wanna see something, show me anything with over 1600hp that can make 8g turns consecutively on Nurb for 20 laps. What the X1 is, is a theoretical fantasy car. There's a lot of these PD branded fantasy cars, but none of them are as controversial or as outlandish as the X1.

About the BTR

I find it fine to drive with no aids(sports softs). Its an excellent car in my opinion.

Mee too. Never had problems with it. It´s not easy to handle it close to its limits, but it isn´t impossible. It´s actually a lot of fun to drive. And I use DS3 with no assists.

And to be honest, I find it more sexy and brutal than the Yellow Bird... The only thing I like about the Yellow Bird is the more refined handling and that it looks pretty much like a Porsche.

The X2010/2011. Not the car itself that makes it bad, but the idiots that use it online. It ruins online. I cannot tell you how many times I've been in a cruise room only to have it ruined by some idiot using an X2010/X2011/X1/whatever it's called. I mean, me and maybe a couple of other folks are cruising along in our normal cars, minding our own business, and then BAM!!! An X1 punts us all into a wall and then speeds off in a cloud of smoke and noise. It's ridiculous. And the people who use it are always the noobs who got the X1 as a freebie, and can't drive it for crap. Now, I got all 3 of my X1s as freebies, and I cannot drive them to save my life, but that doesn't mean that I decide to bring out my X1 and start bashing into all the other cars (especially the smaller ones) just so I can feel like the big man on campus. I mean really, it all dwindles down to selfishness. Unfortunately, from my experiences, it seems as though half the people online are selfish jerks who bring out their X1s in any situation, just because they want to drive it, with complete disregard for all the other drivers.
Sorry if I rambled, but I really wanted to get that rant out.

R35 Hate the way it has kind of delayed steering where it initially understeers then stops, has a think about it and then decides to turn in. Appalling!

Spyker C8 Latoilette, that car is just awful in every way frightening handling and styling by Stevie Wonder, losing a testicle would be preferable to driving it.

Opel & Vauxhall Corsa, mainly because they're revolting looking and there are so many on British roads, I'm sick to the back teeth of them and the chavs that drive them, dont own one, havent driven one and never will.

Most disappointing is the Lotus Carlton, I wanted it to be fun due to the sheer madness of that car, but at least in Spec 1 it was horrible to drive, flips from chronic understeer to uncontrollable oversteer at the drop of a hat. Its not that its difficult to drive, I love a challenging car like the stratos or Renault Maxi, the problem is that its annoying and unresponsive. I hate to admit it but this car has me beaten.

R35- I agree, most hateful car in GT5. Bar none.

Spyker- Nope, the thing was designed by druggies, so expect it to handle like one. I love it.

Postman pat's cars- no comment, fell asleep driving them.

Lotus Carlton- It's a car that beats M5s, how can you say it's the worst car in GT5? It's still a very heavy 4 door car from the '80s, with turbo lag from the '80s so of course the handling is going to be a bit wayward.

So many useless cars in GT5. For one thing, all of the redundants like the Mazda MX-5 Miata 1.8 vs Mazda Eunos Roadster 1.8. Same car just under a different name due to regional differences. Passing the two off as both being 'unique' is very naughty. Or how about the Mazda Protege vs Familia or the 323F vs Lantis Type R?

Then we have so many fantasy cars, like the Japanese 'touring' cars such as the Rx-8 Concept Race car or the Fairlady Z Concept Race Car. They don't exist in real life so shouldn't have any place in a driving simulator like GT. They are there only to make up the numbers, nothing more.

Finally, so many Skyline, S2000 etc variations that are pretty much identical to one another. And why do we need about 10 different GT-Rs? Like the Black Mask, GTR Proto '05, GT-R Concept Tokyo Show, GT-R Pace Car etc.

X1 is most likely used wrong by most players. X1 really needs the track to itself. It takes a lot of skill to drive that thing in a full lobby while dodging everyone. I mean where in between taking turns at break neck G's with exit speeds exceeding 150mph do they have time to dodge some guy at the apex of any turn? The only real way an X1 can pass cleanly is out in a straight. It's a terrible car for a 16 man race, and just terrible period for online unless its a 1-make race designed for X1s and even then something like that is more-so disastrous than just simply an X1 in a lobby full of non-X1s. Where ever it goes, it's more accident prone than anything in the game. Terrible car... 👎

I can begin to understand why F1 has the regulations it does, because I could imagine throwing 30 of these on a track like Lemans or Nurb all at the same time - people would be dying left and right. Very selfish car... it's more of a time attack thing IMO.

That gto has some of the most convincing muscle car suspension modelling in the game! The way it pitches and rolls is far more convincing than many others. Great car.

Now that would make my day... This car is so underrated - apparently it's a pure animal, the most driver oriented car ever... I'd love to see it in GT5, we've got the F40 and the F60 (Enzo) now we need the F50!!! 💡

I guess there would be two different categories for the worst car in the game. What i've seen so far is the most useless (Mitsu iMiev, Vw military vehicles, etc ) and the worst driving ( R35, Tempest Le Mans, etc ). There has to be some sort of middle ground between the two.

The first cars that come to mind when i think of this are the Lister Storm Race Car and the Option Stream Z, as neither are arguably exciting cars and there are cars that do what they were made for much better.

I love the Sambabus. It is excruciatingly slow, but good fun. I also think it would be good for learning a track.

There's WAY too many super GT cars, only put two of each instead of six! Yet the nomad diablo is not allowed in super GT series! I'm kinda annoyed about the fact that the Ferrari f1 cars can't race in FGT series too!
