I just updated gt5 and tried the new Ferrari California on Suzuka and mentioned that the landscape stucks and lags. Thats really annoying cause my eyes start to hurt really fast now.

Have you guys mentioned that too ?

as I said somewhere else.. I didn't have this problem with California, but had small issue with frame rate in Arcade Time Trial at Suzuka in Lotus Evora -> chicane, main straight..

I had a slight framerate drop at HSR last corner with the Evora.
No more issues with other cars and tracks..

the problem occurs only in arcade mode, in online mode it is smooth as it should be.

but it really makes me a littly angry. cause i always try the cars in arcade mode.

im going to write polyphony about the issue to morrow

I came across when trying a setup change with the Ferrari 430 in free practice at Suzuka earlier today. Seems like there is somethin wrong with the latest update, as the framerate drop is very bad in practice.

It happened to me aswell, I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing this problem. I just have a feeling that this is to do with the car, since it is an open top convertible.

I think it's the game in general since the update, obviously one of the changes they've made is affecting the framerate in single player. I've had a slight drop in every car I've tried since at every circuit. It's a little distracting. I'm sure it's something they'll get sorted as they continue to update the game.

it doesn't happen on online, but it's very clear in the arcade mode. it was so bad in my case that I began to feel sick..

It happens only in Time trial and some time events (like Ford GT on HSR).
I hope they will make a patch soon... it's very annoying.

Same problem here, and after awhile it makes you so dizzy you're forced to quit.

Well I guess this is because it was a rushed update for the Citroen GT... the rest of the real spec 3 is yet to come which will probably fix all this.

Where have you heard that...? waiting for private room!

+1:yuck:

In the update thread... and also its common knowledge that this is just the first spec 3 update because its not the massive fall update promised. Citroen paid PD a lot of money in sponsorship so that the car would be put in the game at the same time as the Paris motorshow regardless of how far along other features were. The fact we got 2 extra cars was a bonus, they had been modelled already anyway so PD was just being nice giving us what they already have.

I am getting this with every car on every track...

Hope PD fix it quickly, as it puts me off earning money for the Citroen GT car...

hi ,
and' also happened to me in arcade mode/drift to eiger, fuji, suzuka :nervous:
at times and' very annoying .

I haven't noticed it,certainly not landscape lags, but some minor lags as usual when there are 12 cars crashing into each other at once, been on for many hours with the new update. But i'm playing the game with 720p not 1080p. what is your screen resolution? maybe that has some affects.

Is this only happening to HDMI people because on standard AV's I havent noticed any slowdown..?

it's definately happening with most cars on all tracks... i am also getting tired of the jittering car movements in the showrooms... really takes the shine off an otherwise polished game :-( hopefully as others have stated PD will sort this stuff out in coming updates.... guess we'll see ;-)

All tracks seem to have taken a dip on the framerate here (hooked up to a plain CRT), but on arcade mode it is even worse. I havnt tried all tracks in arcade mode yet, but i found the London track to be rather unplayable.

I can't believe this update got past the usual quality assurance checks.

So if PD plan on bringing car damage to the game, they seriously need to step up their game on the game-engine to keep things smooth.

I have a 60Gig console hooked up to a Samsung 32'' via HDMI. I used to set my Display to 576p because the One lap F40 race was unplayable. Steering response suffered big time at the beggining of the race when all the cars were close together.
Then I got this Spec 3 update - and everything was slow. So I tried 1080i, and it is a lot better. I actually think it is much better than before.
