THE OFFICIAL MUST

I'd like to know that too, put 3 phase is usually 415V - although apparently 3 phase 230V does exist!
I'll wait until someone from Thrustmaster puts that in an email - it would be my luck for something unrelated to fail until they give further notice. It will work fine as the connection of the pins is pretty good in the adaptor and it's low current.
BTW, I managed to dig out a pedal that was in good condition and got it to fit with some fettling of those gears. All is good.

yeah, the voltage of each of the 3 phases is 230V (if you take 1 phase an connect to 0)
put them together, and you get the square root of all combined, i.e. 230x√3=~400V
So for the US market, it would make sense to connect it as a 3-phase, as they then could use the same transformator as we do, because their 120V system would generate a 208V 3-phase voltage (120xx√3=~208V wich would be enough. But how many people have access to 3-phase in their livingroom?
Still does'nt explain why I got an unearthed cable either. Maybe because its all made of plastic there is no risk of getting chocked...

That's what I thought when I was bolting the wheel to the steering column of the playseat which is made of a lot of metal! Hopefully that whacking great transformer is well wrapped up.

Niss worked out the tracks on closest finishes from previous series we've had.

I thought that played a big part in it, although many of the regular drivers I have noticed have improved a lot too.
I've always wondered if people prefer closer racing to more difficult circuits. Personally,a track that gets my vote is one that I would consider to drive on just for fun, but that's just me I guess.

Guys is this a problem?
The bottom half starts going off.
My opinion about the track list is that it doesn't suit me personally, especially the first 2 races. The rest is OK I guess but the absence of Monza was something I didn't favour.
I personally like tracks that are fun to drive, just like mirial said.

Hmm, that is weird.
I don't believe that a race with mixed conditions can be so boring. Unless it was going to be a full wet race with the track settings you have decided previously.

Well Jon,
Historically many drivers didnt like wet races.
However the real issues has been, that although i have always done extensive testing,
spending hours and hours setting up and wathing races for changeable conditions,
and making settings adjustments, then running again for 90 minutes, it is so random that the
same settings can have such vast differences to the weather.
The weather in gt6 is always triggered by the temperature.
At each track rain will start to fall when the temp goes below a certain degree.
We have no way of changing the temp, if you open a lobby over and over again, the temp varies a huge amount, even if the track and settings are the same.
To try to ensure the weather does change, rather than being wet the whole race, which would often happen,
i run the changeability at min x15 as this ensure the weather cycles through different temperatures, and therefore hopefully goes through the temp barrier that causes rain and dry.
So i always run weather races at x15 changeability, its not ideal, as it causes the track to become wet very fast and dry very fast, and at a long track like Spa, you can easily get caught out at the back of the track at 70% wet on dry tyres,
which is not great.
We have runs Spa with the exact same weather settings many times.
Once it was fantastic, dry for 15 minutes, then rain fir 15 minutes, then dry then wet, it changed about 6 times during the race, it was awesome.
But also with the exact same settings it has also stayed dry throughout the whole race, and other times, it starts to rain and goes to 100% wet for the whole race,
Its so random, that even though i have spent years observing these settings, there is no way to ensure it will do what we want, and become changeable.
And this is what most don't like.

Race report: After my second unplanned pit (toilet break) I was 2 laps down and was a little care free about track limits I didn't go over board and purposely go OB but I know I did go OB a couple of time's. If you need me to give details let me know and I'll have a look at replay later. Just being lazy since it was a drop score.
Lesson's learned: don't restore chassis right before starting race, don't adjust setup right before race and don't have that 2nd coffee
