OP says cars connected to Gran Turismo (there's a broad definition there) and/or connected to racing (also a broad definition) as long as a number connected with the car reflects the date.

Almost a puzzle, isn't it?
The last pic I posted for instance is an R 31, from Gran Turismo 4, showing the #31 Speedline wheels. Many connections.
